I just came to eat. They hadnt what i wanted first, the service was very slow (the cook had to ring the waitress twice). Pasta were good but i could literraly count the chicken chunks and there were REALLY few cheese (i had to ask for more). I realize at the bill that they charged an extra for it without even telling me first... Kinda dissapointed, which is lame because the food was alright...

Great location if you're visiting the Fort and Palace area. There is no in door seating, but it's got a great outdoor beach vibe with plenty of shade. Perfect spot to grab a drink and some quick food. Would describe most of the menu as smaller bites - sandwiches and grilled cheese type of stuff. Also a great selection of juices. All at reasonable prices served by very attentive staff. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

What a great oasis in the center of Paramaribo ! The coffee is really good, the Dutch pancake is a perfect treat for breakfast after you tried the typical sranan sandwich. The staff is so friendly, we came back several times during our stay in the city ! Don't hesitate to rent bikes for 24 hours to enjoy the city or to visit the Peperbot nature park !

Disappointing, and not a great experience overall. Staff was unfriendly…had to go up to the bar to order, since the waitress ignored me at my table, yet helped an older Dutch couple. Caipirinha was decent (hence 2 stars). Food (veggie pasta) came quickly, but the vegetables were undercooked, and it wasn’t very tasty. Doubt I’d return.

DO NOT waste your time or money at this place. I went with some friends after having eaten here previously, mediocre at best but I went because my friend’s wanted to go. We sat down and were informed that it would take around 40 minutes to have food prepared because they only had 2 cooks. We ordered 2 burgers + a Saté and some drinks. After almost an hour, the attendant came over apologizing that our food would be further delayed because “a table that had made reservations” had just arrived and their order would be put before ours… Almost an hour and they had yet to even begin cooking our food? We were offered a free toasted bread with pesto as a concession. We were so offended that we left, a pathetic excuse for customer service! The menu is quite simple and the fact that they cannot prepare food in a timely manner (with 2 cooks) only proves that this is not worth wasting your time and money. You have been warned, waste your time and money at your own risk! And as previously stated, the food is not that good to begin with. I cannot understand how this restaurant has become popular?

The beef burger was very enjoyable, be sure to include the bacon too. Cajun fries are also very good, while they last (later ppl got just plain fries). What is the biggest problem are waiting times and general disorganization and/or incompetence of the staff. Bring a lot of patience with you to this place.

Good deal to stay few days in Paramaribo. Staffs for activities are very nice and speak very well English 👍. For the place, beware by the way, the service is so long to order food, like in lot of places in this cityI wasn't surprised when I saw that it was the same in city. Otherwise, beds were comfortable and toilets, showers were very clean. I recommend for the Brownsweg if you like nature and hike.

This is a lovely hip restaurant. Great food for very affordable prices. and always nice casual atmosphere. Sometimes there are life music performances on the Friday evenings. They also have a guesthouse and a bicycle rental on the premises. Open every day and the whole day and evening.
