We came to celebrate a birthday. They do give a free dessert of choice for the birthday person. You will receive one free round of bread for the table. After that it’s $1.50 per roll. The sides are large enough to share. Our favorite sides was the octopus, the Brussel sprouts, risotto and Caesar salads. The fettuccine Alfredo could have used some more sauce and the chicken was cooked perfectly. The chicken Marsala was really good. The shrimp pasta was good and the short rib pasta - we thought it would come in Alfredo sauce. Overall service was amazing and we would come back. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My husband and I had a nice romantic dinner last summer at this beautiful restaurant with delicious food and excellent service! After being greeted by several personable hostesses, we were seated beside a little stream with lush greenery and were treated very well by the wonderful server, Alaric, and the assistant water server (from the Philippines) with the big, sweet smile. We ordered some nice rose wine to go along with our Wood Grilled Octopus appetizer and delicious entrees, Frutti di Mare and Short Rib Sugo, and then finished up with the scrumptious Pineapple Macadamia Cheesecake. Frutti di Mare (which means “Fruit of the Sea”) had clams, mussels, scallops and shrimp with freshly made pasta and a delicious sauce with lemon on the side. Short Rib Sugo (which means “Sauce”) had mouth-watering rib meat with freshly made pasta in a traditional sauce made with ripe tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil, onions, garlic, and seasonings. We observed that the manager and bartenders also seemed to be very hospitable, and all the guests appeared to be having a great time. It was such a relaxing evening in a lovely setting! We arrived late to the hotel and we ended up here because the steakhouse was booked up. I’m so glad that we did! The service was amazing! We started with drinks and then oysters, blue crab with squid ink pasta, delicious seared scallops, and a decadent dessert! Our server bought us each a drink and we spent time conversing with him about his upcoming marriage. At the end of the night they even offered us leftover wine that was to go into their sangria! The setting was romantic and beautiful. I can’t give more than 5 stars, but I wish that I could! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I returned back to find a new menu. Their new bread filled with ricotta cheese is to die for, very delicious. Our server, Catherine provided excellent service. From the hostess to the server, we felt we received excellent attentive and friendly service. I had Alfredo pasta and loved it, creamy and delicious. Overall, this was one of the best Italian restaurants in DFW. The atmosphere at night was calming and relaxing. The pasta was made from scratch and the flavor was great! You can tell the amount of work the kitchen staff put into making key items from scratch. From the pasta, the sauce, and the ice cream, this place really brings quality and craft together in their dishes. The Traditional Spumoni was phenomenal! I highly recommend it and I will go back just for that dessert when we’re back in town. We love this place! This restaurant was recommended by a friend. We came for a girls' night, and my husband booked it for our anniversary after tasting my leftovers. So great. We had raw oysters for the first time as appetizers. It comes with saices, but all you need is a bit of lemon juice! We both had crafted cocktails. The Gladiator is a crowd favorite and the italian margarita. My husband got the lobster ravioli, and I got rigatoni with grilled chicken. The lobster ravioli is packed with lobster. Huge plus. It is slightly spicy but not overpowering. The rigatoni with the vodka sauce is.... perfection. The chicken is grilled chicken, gently seasoned with italian seasoning and lemon zest. We opted out of dessert, but the options are phenominal. Definitely unique and packed with flavor based on the details! We are already planning a staycation so we can come back again. Ask for Alaric! He is a waiter there and absolutely amazing energy. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Bread and Olive Oil

Visited this restaurant while staying at the Gaylord Hotel during QuakeCon 2023. Hubby and I were very pleased with our meal. The octopus appetizer was amazing! The octopus was cooked to perfection. It had some mini potatoes and a delicious sauce. I forgot to take a picture before eating so the one I have is after removing 2 pieces. Hubby had the mushroom risotto with chicken that was super good. The chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned, as was the risotto. I had the fettuccine Alfredo with a side of forest mushrooms. Together was great, but the fettuccine Alfredo alone had a very mild flavor. For dessert I had the tiramisu which was a bit too soaked so the flavor was off for me. Hubby had the pineapple cheesecake that was soooo good. Finishing the dessert with a cappuccino and black coffee made the evening perfect. We will definitely dine there again if we’re staying here. Lovely restaurant, good atmosphere and excellent food! The service was comical at times. We had a trainer and a new wait staff attending our party of 6. We asked three times for "water no ice" for my mother-in-law who can't drink really cold beverages. Eventually, the trainer brought a little tea pot of boiling water. Uh...okay. I poured the hot water into the ice water, and wallah, water with no ice! Howling laughter all around the table! Otherwise, the wait staff and food (including oysters on the half shell) were great. Try to get a table with the high backed leather chairs - super comfy. I ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken. They brought us bread which I enjoyed also. We didn't have reservations so the girl in the front offered us to sit in the bar since we didn't want wait much longer to eat. Once we got near the bar, I asked a young gentleman if we could sit at the round two sit table and he said yes that would be ok. Then another young lady by the register said sometimes they are lenient since it wasn't busy, so me and my sister got to sit at a table more comfortable versus sitting on the bar. The pricing is a bit too much but I guess a restaurant like this might say that the food is freshly made and organic plus they have it set up a bit fancy for like a date night with your significant other. If they want keep these pricing then I would want more pasta in my plate and free tiramisu cake.
