I was blown away by the delicious African Bean soup (vegetarian) I had. Plus, the atmosphere there feels so inviting. I had also learned that this place has a nightlife as well. So, it does more than have good food! The staff was quite welcoming and made me feel at home while I sat down and relaxed after a busy day running around with my head cut off. Not sure what to make out of the Google ratings, 4.5 really? Dined here early this year, had the cod. Eaten both east and west African cuisine, always found it a bit tasteless and dull, not my cup of tea to be honest but this is another level altogether. 5 people dined, all ordered different dishes and 4 out of 5 found their meals tasteless. Shame but customer service makes up for it. To each their own I guess… Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person kr 300–400

Would you consider opening up a European restaurant on a different continent? Don't think so. But a Pan African eatery in Karlstad sounded like a great idea??? The menu was not impressive, but that is just my personal opinion. The kitchen failed to prepare the beef according to instructions. Despite being well staffed, the service was not fab at all. On a more positive note, the place had clean toilets and properly managed - a viable future. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

We visited this restaurant during our holiday (two families with young children). The waitress was super accommodating & friendly, and we had a very tasty lunch, so we were very happy about our visit! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch

I've had a very nice experience at Zanzibar. I've had the hommus as first meal and it was really good with grilled vegetable and spices on top, later I've had the well-done ragu Wich had a really tasty gravy and the met was perfect. really nice staff, clean and beutiful place. highly recommend for a visit 👍🏽

Trevlig lokal och personal och god och spännande mat. Rätt så humana priser. Kul att det öppnat ett ställe med lite annorlunda mat. Mitt favoritställe för en lördagslunch, rekommenderas varmt. Jag skulle dock uppskatta lite större variation på luncherna, nu är det i stort sett samma meny alla dagar, vilket gör att man inte går dit så ofta. Gratis kaffe och någon billig småkaka, som typ kringlor skulle nog också ge fler lunchgäster. Kaffe och kakor fanns det senast jag var där, nu hoppas jag på en lite mer varierad lunchmeny också.
