Indisputably the best place to rest in Pakmeng. Food is delicious, the prices are very reasonable. The boss, Mrs Li is most hospitable, helpful and kind. She advised us about Thai food. She tried her best to convince me NOT to eat the Waterbug dip, but finally I got it and it was absolutely delicious and special. Try it. Special thanks for early breakfasts, they are not easy to find in Pakmeng. And they are delicious two. I enjoyed every spoon of the rice soup, early in the morning at absolutely empty beach in the shadow of a palm tree.
We were overjoyed when we saw that breakfast is a early as 6:30am. There are also Dim Sum (点心) for breakfast. However, the service is horrendous and the staff couldn't get their order correctly. After ordering the food, we were informed that the food is not available.
When we ask for toast bread, they said they have not any. But then the staff said they will try to get some bread and after a long time it did not arrive, we enquire about the bread and they said there isn't available. They don't even have the courtesy to informed us.
Lastly, the staff cannot tell the difference between congee (粥, โจ๊ก) and boiled rice (ข้าวต้ม).

Probably the best restaurant in Pak Meng beach. Great seafood. Not the cheapest; but reasonably priced for the best. Sit in the restaurant, on the patio, or across the street at a table on the sand. Let the kids enjoy the water and play in the sand while you relax with great food and cold drinks. Nice way to spend the day.
Good food at a good price. You can dine on the beach or over the road at the restaurant.
This is very much a local Thai area with few tourists but does get busy at the weekend.
Menu is in English. Hormuk is good here as is any fish dish.
Nice authentic restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. They are also open regarding special wishes and can cook European-level spicy if desired. I would especially recommend a visit if you're staying at a nearby resort so you get to see more "authentic" local culture.
