Loved this spot. Fast friendly service made for a quick lunch. The crunch from the chicken will knock you out and just the right amount of sweetness to set it apart from other fried chicken options. Counter cashier seemed very unhappy to be at work and having to serve customers, seemed more interested in socializing with the people they knew. Chicken is always good but as the sides go the mashed potatoes tasted watery and very much from flakes and the green beans were the kind you buy already seasoned in the can. Also the chicken livers had been fried too long and were hard on the edges. Still a local favorite and best prices on chicken in town! The fried chicken was good. I would highly recommend it. My only issue were the sides they were pretty average and weren't really anything I would want to try again. The sweet tea was really good, though. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Went in for an order of chicken, paid and drove 30 minutes home. When I got home to look at the chicken that had been given to me, all the pieces were crispy burnt (I can tap on the skin and it made a sound). When I called back to the establishment, I spoke to a young lady telling her the chicken had been refried or burnt she snickered and said I would have to speak with the manager. When I spoke to the manager I explained to her exactly what I had told the young lady and she stated, “I [she] doubts it had been refried and the ONLY way I [she] could do anything is if it’s brought back.” I wouldn’t have to bring ANYTHING back if services had been rendered properly the first time. I got the Cindy Bear with four pieces of chicken and two sides. The chicken was very crispy and delicious. The masked potatoes and gravy and fried corn on the cob was delicious. The food and service were great. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Mashed Potatoes
