This place is something wonderful. The service is super friendly. I looked around for about twenty minutes trying to make a choice, but the selections are in so many varieties. I finally bought this cake, I can't remember the name, that has mixed fruit between the layers. It was also topped with fruit slices. All I can say is that I'm going to by another real soon

The employee, Nicholas, at the cake counter completely ignored me and made cake boxes while I waited for service then he rushed over to the register to assist another customer with checkout for a pastry. Not sure if it was a color issue as she was White and I am Black. After that behavior I approached another employee who was taking photos of the display case and asked for assistance at the cake counter. He immediately said sure and went to find someone to assist me since Nicholas was still checking out the customer he chose to assist. While the other employee went to the back to get assistance Nicholas completed the transaction and had no choice but to assist me since he saw me communicating with the other employee. While assisting me he was short and very abrasive. I asked a question about a cake and he answered like he was annoyed with me and frowned his face. Finally when he checked me out he slammed the receipt on the counter. The experience was quite awful and the only reason I purchased the cake was because I procrastinated and my mom’s birthday dinner is tonight. However, I will not make that mistake again. I will not spend my money at an establishment that employees favor specific customers.

UPDATE 2024 - Tried their pizza spot next door and enjoyed the game day special. Order a cheesless pizza and it was great, so I am excited about trying it with cheese next time. The wings were awesome, great flavor and not too greasy. Staff was accommodating even after they made the wrong pie, so appreciate them.
The Bakery has a very nice staff! Always a pleasure being helped by them. Sticky Bun is awesome, I love it and will get more of it! The peanut butter cookies are delicious and so are the chocolate chip -- but they haven't been consistently good in recent months...
The store itself is so clean and has plenty of pastries and cookies to offer. Highly recommend!
