We visited this place for some cake tea. The decor has a wonderful retro aesthetic and complements the old building that the cafe is housed in. The mille crepe was delicious and each slice comes with a small cup of tea. Service was very attentive and we got multiple refills of hot water for the yellow tea we ordered. A very relaxing place to enjoy some cake and tea.

Mille crepe here is good, and each cake comes with a mini hot tea to go with. Cosy environment. Plus point: Plenty of parking space outside the bakery!

Was on a Saturday afternoon around 2pm. Heard from other people that you have to be there early else the cakes will be sold out but thankfully there were still many options left. Ordered chocolate, original and macchiato cheese. I personally think the cakes are a bit too sweet especially the original one. The chocolate one is the best followed by the cheese. The cakes have less cream in them compared to Nadeje’s. Although I preferred Nadeje’s more but I would definitely come back to try out other flavours. Hopefully there will be new flavours the next time I’m back. OH and also the customer service is top notch. Polite and they wouldn’t leave you standing around when you come into the bakery. I hope they keep this up!!
A quaint place to have some good dessert with tea/coffee. Was pleasantly surprised with their Soda Tea. A great refresher that hits all the right notes to perk you up. Recommended for travellers looking for a place to do tea, a few hours before dinner time.

Recently visited Something Bakery in Malacca and I must say it was an okay experience - honestly don't really get the hype. The wait was only about 5 minutes, which was great. We tried their crepe cakes and they were pretty meh in terms of taste, but very instagrammable. The layers were perfectly thin and but the cream didn't have much taste.
Their toilet had no toilet paper or soap :(
Overall, I wouldn't recommend Something Bakery for anyone looking for a great dessert spot in Malacca. It's not bad, but it's nothing special.
Popular with the trendy young crowd. A nice place to relax and have some light snacks. Plenty of parking space available here.
