Quite quaint little restaurant about 200mtrs from the beach. We ordered beef pilau and masala tea. Both were delicious. Food well priced, prepared fresh and service was fantastic 😊

Pilau Rice Cooked with Meat Potato and Fresh Spices
Absolutely loved this place! We were staying at a nearby hotel but ended up taking more meals here as the food was superior and better value. Amazing smoothies and fresh juices (but say if you have fussy children like mine and they just want 'neat' juice and no ginger!), lovely pizza and pasta, great Swahili dishes too - we worked our way through much of the menu and didn't have a bad dish. Home made soups were great too.
Friendly service, not too slow, and allowed card payments (with 5% surcharge which we were quite happy to pay).
Nice local atmosphere too - one evening we could hear the traditional music and drumming from a nearby wedding.

While having a walk in the village and searching for a restaurant this one caught our eye. It is very clean and food is very good. I recommend the fish of the day and a Kilimanjaro beer.

Excellent place - must be. Taste of coffee amazing, and officially the best price on the island. Preparation of food is not in swahili time ;) very good taste of everything and good wifi connection. Enjoy !
Really good food inside the village. Prices half of the resort restaurant prices. We started coming here every day for a dinner after browsing diferent places around our resort

J'y suis allée un peu par hasard mon premier jour avec ma famille.
On a trouvé l'endroit cool un personnel très souriant et surtout des plats délicieux. Pendant le temps d'attente les enfants pouvaient se défouler sur le trampoline du jardin.

Hidden gem located inside a village along Jambiani beach. If you want to taste the real local food then no mistake, this is the place. Friendly staff, amazing chef, fresh fish every day and good value for the money. Octopus with coconut milk is a must try. Best octopus I ever ate😋 Will definitely come back soon.
