I ordered the sriracha beef, which I was expecting to be spicy. The food was tasty, a little sweeter than I expected, but also definitely not spicy to me. My husband ordered the same but chicken. Both were very similar. We were a bit disappointed. The soup(broth) and salad that comes with the meals were good. This was my first time at Yamato, and my waitress was so awesome!! She explained the menu and everything so well. She was super patient us when ordering. Food was really good, and there was ALOT on our plate! Clean table, clean restaurant. Very nice place and we will be returning. We brought our family out for our sons 18th birthday. What an excellent first time experience! Our cook, I wish I knew his name, was so awesome! He had us hysterically laughing the whole time he cooked for us, he incorporated my kids through the whole experience and i couldn't have appreciated that more.
