Nice warm coffee with cozy corner seating. You wanna spend 30 mins your me time them must visit. They have butter croissants which I tried, it was full of butter, make sure you ask them to warm. They have variety of munching options. Must try in Gateway.

Hazelnut Hot Chocolate
We finally got to visit Xpresso Café SA, known to many as the R10 coffee shop, because everything on the menu is, well, R10! We bought one of each item on the menu to try. There was so much they had to pack it in a box for us. 🤣 Hubby also got an iced coffee and I got a Hazelnut Hot Chocolate which literally tasted like liquid Ferrero Rocher. Everything was fresh and delicious. Shocking how everything is so cheap, especially at this difficult time for businesses. But I guess when you do things with good intentions, you are always blessed, which I think is the case with this establishment. Well done guys! 😃 🥐😁🍰🧇🍪🌰☕️
The service here is really bad, it's like they're doing you a favor by serving you. Whenever you ask for muesli they tell you that they don't have but no; they just don't want to sell it because apparently "making muesli is annoying" a cashier once said to me when I purchased four muesli's and she literally laughed at my face and then she confessed that they hate making muesli. You guys need to teach your staff the importance of customer service. Secondly, the muffins! The first time I bought a muffin, I had my usual bite and in my surprise an egg shell, which is really disgusting and the second time it was a paper. You guys need to sort your staff cause this isn't it. I wouldn't recommend Xpresso Café in Gateway to anyone.
Certainly one of Gateway’s best kept secrets right now. Everything is R10 and actually is quality it on the other side of Gateway by incredible connection and woolies a great choice for a affordable confectionery treat
Visited the Gateway, Umhlanga branch today. i buy here quiet often.
This time the music was so loud, staff were so rowdy, you could barely hear the cashier. When i asked why is it so loud inside today, the lady just laughed. Placed my order and stood outside and waited for it to be ready, once ready we took our snacks and left to eat else where, tables where dirty and bin was smelly and full. very bad for a store inside such a large mall. i would rather buy from the park square store
