It was too cold this morning for the real thing, so I decided to give X-Golf Rockwall a try. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very helpful in explaining how the simulator works. Distance here , for me, varied from on the course, but there is probably a steep learning curve that takes more than an hour on a cold day to master. The putting simulation is pretty cool but has little correlation to actually putting on a green. All in all, it's a very good time. They have food and drinks available as well as club rentals.
Great spot and a lot of fun. However one thing we’ve noticed in several visits is we are almost always put in a bay late and then rushed off with constant reminders of how much time we have left. Hard to have a great experience when folks are telling you 10 min left, 5 min left, 1 min left. Let us play! Geeze
The staff / team at X golf are amazing. They are always checking in to see if you need assistance or a refill. Shoutout to Katie and Paul, who always take time to speak with the guests and offer tips, tricks, and general knowledge about the simulators. Wonderfully fun and convenient way to play/practice in all weather scenarios, as well as at night. I highly recommend giving X-Golf a try. You will be b glad that you did.
Great experience both times that I have been here. First time was just a practice session and to be honest completely forgot to even come back.
Second time I was leaving work late and still wanted to play 18 holes somewhere but time was not on my side. Remembered X Golf Rockwall was on my way home and decided to book for 2.5 hours! Great time and a buddy met me to play a full 18.
The staff is very helpful and happy ( Who wouldn't be golfing all day? LOL ) Rich was who originally booked my time and he would regularly check in on me and my buddy to show us cool things in the bay. Even had us play some CTP shots and it was just an all around great time!
I will definitely be back soon with more friends so we can have a 18 hole challenge along with some more CTP! Thanks again for the great time!
