What an awesome spot. The atmosphere was awesome, service was fantastic. And the food was just so, so good. Great sausages well prepared, delicious sides and great bar selections. What's not to love? Such an awesome vibe, the music has been top notch every time all 5 times I've been there, the drinks are cheap well cheaper than anywhere else in main Strauss though it's 2 blocks from Strauss village and 2 blocks from Madison&Pike bar district. The female bartenders are sexy, witty, and sassy the guy bartenders are funny, outlandish, and comically cynical towards the world as a whole! But I met the owner, and that guys super cool, he seemed very self-assured and confident yet still was empathetic and humble while connecting with the other patrons, when he took a moment to introduce himself to me he was really connecting and interested in who I was and what I do, with no other motives than to get to know me it was refreshing and that's why I keep going back. It's definitely Northern Kentucky's grateful Dead family bar! But it's definitely worth checking out to see if it's the kind of vibes you're looking for, there's good, real people there, playing real live music and eating great food! Definitely a "labradorite in the ruff!" Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Didn't care for the jukebox music and mushroom swiss but tolerable, I ate my sandwich. Forgot what my son ordered but he liked it. He didn't eat most of his bacon slaw, I enjoyed mine. I never had slaw like that before. What I like is that they have plenty of healthy vegetable options and big slices of mushrooms, lettuce, and I think tomatoes on my sandwich. Prices are a bit steep but I would eat there again. The bartender was very good. We ate at the bar to keep from taking a big table in case someone needed it with more people. I’LL BE BACK First visit, won’t be last. Went early evening, during the week to avoid crowds. Walk in, immediately greeted by the cool bartenders. Super nice they were. Love the atmosphere and interior, sit right down, perfect. Unfortunately the signature beer blew the keg on my order but did get half a glass, delicious. We ordered the fevor, polish and Italian sausages, kraut, potato cake, a burger, Rueben and fries. All great, no complaints on anything. Love the food and the place. Anxious to visit when it’s warmer and can enjoy the bier garden. Two thumbs up, definitely will be back sooner rather than later. Found this wonderful little nook in a wall neighborhood bar on Google Maps, and took the chance. I am so glad we did. The place was exactly what I had hoped a comfortable small venue with some of the most amazing German and German inspired food I’ve had in my travels. This is a must eat in the Cincinnati area. The sausages were delicious and varied enough that you had to try as many as your belly could hold. Would definitely recommend the Fever and the Hot Met wurst. The bacon slaw was something I’ve never had before and was surprised when I got it but it was amazing definitely try it. The pierogis were amazing and something I could eat daily. The service was spot on and friendly. The only word of caution I have is that it is a small neighborhood bar and the seating is limited. You may end up at the bar or sharing a table but everyone is friendly and outgoing. We came from out of town and I told my crew, I would like a good burger. Google did not disappoint me leading me here. The three cheese burger is hands down the best burger I’ve ever had, cooked medium of course. 🖤 I will definitely be back when I come back to the area. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

To be honest I came for the pretzel but was quite disappointed. It didn't really taste much like a pretzel, more like bland bread, there wasn't even much salt on it, I couldn't taste it. It's definitely big though, and can easily be shared between two people. The beer cheese was nothing special, it was okay but honestly not too flavorful either. The other cheese dip option, the name I can't recall, was actually a little better. The sausages were really good though, very juicy and tons of great flavor. I tried the currywurst and a cheddarwurst and they were both really good. The inside of the bar is a bit cramped, but the area out back is pretty nice. There was plenty of seating and a fire pit going. They also had live music on a Sunday evening which was nice. All in all it's a fine place, good sausages, but the pretzel was a massive disappointment, one of the worst pretzels I've had, to the extent it can be called a pretzel. Stopped here for lunch on a Saturday right as they opened. I saw on reddit that they had the best pretzel and beer cheese -- Wunderbar did not disappoint! (neither did reddit) Ashley, the bartender, was super friendly and helpful with navigating us through the different options, made recommendations, and seemed to know all the right details about each dish. Shoutout to the cook, the food was amazing. Wife said this was the best sausage/kraut she's ever had. The pretzels live up to the hype, and the hamburger was massive. Great flavors, spices, you name it. Awesome vibe, incredible food! We will definitely be back soon! Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20
