We just had the most wonderful dinner experience at Woods. Bridget and Galen and their team are simply amazing. Our waitress Anna was so professional and kind. I loved my Caesar salad and lamb dish. I will definitely be back soon. I very highly recommend Woods. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100
We had an unforgettable meal in the garden at The Woods. The setting was sophisticated but comfortable. Service was excellent, and every bite of food was delicious and perfectly prepared. A highlight of our experience was the performance by the charming guitar player. Truly a unique and outstanding evening. We'll be back every time we visit Martha's Vineyard. Best dinner I had on the island! The service was warm and attentive and the food was absolutely delicious. If weather permits, you must sit outside in their garden setting. It is just magical. Don't miss this wonderful experience! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $100+
Recently dined at The Woods at Lamberts Cove. Initially were greeted by friendly staff, hostess, and wine person were very helpful. Our waitress seemed to be attentive until about 3/4 into the dinner and we never seen or heard from her again.Never ask if we wanted coffee with our dessert or came back to the table. We were one of the last to finish, when we went looking for her,we found her in the the kitchen talking with staff and eating. We felt very slighted by her and made our experience very uncomfortable.Food way overated.Won't be going back there. Meal type Dinner Price per person $100+
So glad I got to have an amazing meal at this very special restaurant before the word gets out!! Lambert's Cove Inn is under new ownership this year and the restaurant is now under the direction of very accomplished and talented executive chef, Galen Sampson. His experience ranges from executive chef at Luxury Hotels and Resorts, to working on an organic farm, implementing and directing a comprehensive culinary program at a regenerative agricultural farm in Vermont that uses innovative, ecologically sustainable practices, to owning an award winning farm-to-table restaurant in Baltimore. A few of the choices on last night's delightful prefix menu included Menemsha oysters with a garden mignonette, lamb borek (slow braised lamb, Moroccan spices, golden raisins & herbs, baked in phyllo with cucumber, lemon-dill yogurt, Charred spring vegetables served with hushpuppy croutons, and the best short ribs I have ever tasted! All dishes feature locally grown and raised ingredients which results in food that is fresh and delicious, and helps the local farms to thrive. While most restaurants today throw out the terms "sustainable", "locally sourced", "fresh from the market ingredients", etc. ... this is the real deal. The setting (off the beaten path) in a charming inn just made the dinner experience that much more enchanting! Can't wait to visit again
A hidden gem. Food was excellent, service was great, and the outdoor seating was perfect. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $100+
A fantastic meal. The tuna crudo was impecable as were the fried oysters. The beautiful outdoor setting and friendly service made it an evening to remember
