Just loved this place. My husband and I were in town on business and just wanted a close bar to our hotel. The owner was extremely nice to us. The locals are very nice people also.

This is the kind of bar you want to be a regular at. The owner Tony is very welcoming and has built an old school sports bar vibe in a town that is being overcome with gentrification. I will definitely be returning. Salud!

If you’re looking for a hidden gem - no frills, I repeat, no frills type of place - Woods is your spot. Full disclosure: Nivea (the bartender) is my mom and has bartended alongside Tony and his wife (the owners) for more than 20 years. My mom loves the place so much, you can find her there on her off days. Tony is the man! One of a kind. The place is special - a perfect, dive bar with Portuguêse flair. Make sure you bring cash for the jukebox and pool table, and order an espresso with Sambuca.
