Overall: excellent! Food: -had some traditional garlic Parmesan wings. —blue cheese is super thick (blue cheese lovers will really like it) -had the smoked rings. These are unique from other places (smoke bbq/buffalo seasoning). Love the fact that the onion did not “slipped out” of the breading on any of them. Service: -ate at bar. Great and fast service. Bottom line up front: 4 out of 5 times you will have an outstanding experience here. 1 out of 5 experiences will be abysmal. This is one of my favorite spots in the past for great customer service and the drink selection is pretty good and the food is solid. I don't generally have a bad experience here but for some reason about 20% of the time it's such a terrible experience it makes me wonder why I continue to visit. Quick rundown; I got there for lunch at 2:20 p.m. (I know, late lunch), I made it out of the restaurant at 4:50p. Not overly uncommon for a place like this if you're sitting and watching the game but I was not. I was trying to get in and out. Everything was going nice and smooth, I've got two wait staff waiting on me and everything was going good until 3:30, where they dropped off my last drink that I ordered. I wouldn't normally know the exact times but my friend that was with me had to leave at 3:40, and the drink arrive just in time for her to try because she wanted to try the mango mule which is what I ordered. She tries the drink which was fine, and then she left. Up until this point the experience was great. I get my mango mule, and the next time I saw somebody I had planned on getting the check. But that didn't happen. Ever. From 3:40 to 4:45 when I finally went up to the front desk and asked them if I could get my check, I saw many people being waited on, I saw people getting their food, drinks, eating and even paying and leaving. I even had three tables around me, but I was being ignored. I tried to get their attention multiple times, one of the girls looked at me and walked off after I tried to get her attention with a "hey ma'am". At this point it's about 4:20 p.m., and I'm losing my patience. So when two of the waiters / waitresses were around me, I raised my hand hoping that it was just an oversight and they would come by, this is a rude gesture that I don't like doing but it had been 40 minutes at this point with no contact with anyone. I held my hand up in the air for about 2 to 3 minutes before I realized that this was probably ridiculous and nobody was coming to talk to me. I placed drinks on the corner of the table that were empty I even sat at the corner of my chair giving signals that I am ready to leave. Still nothing. Ultimately, after another 20 minutes, I went up to the front desk and asked the hostess if I could get my check because it had been over an hour at this point with no service. And it took them about 5 minutes to track one of the two people down that had waited on me and I was able to pay. Unfortunately, I've got it an incessant habit to tip very well because I've worked in the restaurant industry before and I know how bad the wait stuff is sometimes treated and how poorly people tip. Which in this case I definitely should not have done, But I did anyway. Meanwhile I was hoping maybe somebody would say something to me, maybe the person that was supposed to be in charge messed up or just any sort of explanation at all. But I didn't get one, I guess it was just wishful thinking it wouldn't have fixed anything anyway. I hope you guys don't let this happen too often, I sincerely enjoy this restaurant, and the staff is generally so dang good (particularly the bar staff, this was one of the few times I didn't sit in the bar area, maybe that's where I went wrong?). I don't know what happened today, But I hope that if I visit Wings and Rings again that the service is decent and I can update this review. This place is amazing, the food is just to die for!!! We have also had some to-go orders and everything is so fresh and very well packaged, don't waste your time at a Buffalo Wild Wings, that place is trash compared to here. If you are looking for amazing appetizers try the buffalo chicken nachos and the Korean Shrimp!! You won’t regret it.
Went with about 30 people for an office going away party. I think the staff was overwhelmed as we weren't the only group there. Half the building didn't have servers so they moved us to the other side. No big deal. Staff was nice. Orders were almost all on point for as many people as there were. Homemade blue cheese was delicious as was the celery. Their onion rings were wonderful, their mozzarella sticks, not so much. Their pretzel bites and beer battered cheese dip was excellent! Wings were okay in size, cooked right (I asked for extra crispy and extra saucy). Sweet mango was my favorite, their ghost pepper ranch have a good kick to them but not so bad that they're not edible. Their hot garlicparm were meh. Overall decent and I'd go back.
