We were here once before, three months ago. The bartender/owner remembered us and what we drank. The wines were great and the atmosphere is everything you could want. Stop by they'll find a wine for you to love and relax with good people. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

They don't serve food but all kinds of drinks. It's a very warm, welcoming, engaging, family-feeling spot in the community where kind, funny, open and warm people gather or hang out alone. It has a smaller pub-like or "Cheers" type atmosphere in Independence's Englewood Arts District. It's an adorable event space to rent and bring food or have it catered. It appears to seat 40 ish people. I was there for a special event that had a live band. Great music and awesome people. Price per person $1–10 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This place sure is hopping on Third Fridays. Mary Ellen is great and will make you whatever kind of drink you want (limited menu on Third Fridays because it's so busy). Bring your own food. Atmosphere: 5

Best wine bar in the whole city!!! The owner is simply amazing! This should be a must do stop on your list. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
There’s a reason why this place has so many good reviews. It is incredible— from the kind women who run it, the delicious drinks, the beautiful art, and the people who spend their time there— it has it all. It is a hidden gem and it has an unbeatable atmosphere. If you’re considering coming here, please do! The best martinis (and shots) I’ve ever had. I highly recommend the pineapple upside cake martini!
What an Amazing establishment !! Great service, fast friendly family experience. The food is off the chain . My first time here but never the last . Worth the drive time and money !!! The Mac n cheese lollipops are to die for my personal favorite.

Went tonight with a group of friends and we agreed it was the best experience we've had. The hospitality of these three women is over the top! The food was excellent, the wine delicious, the music nostalgic, the decor beyond description and the price is right! What a great addition to our community.

Love the cool jukebox and my beautiful friend April standing next to it, too! There is so much to enjoy at the new entertaining Wine Down 109 in Englewood, owned by great friends, Nancy and Meg! The ambiance is welcoming with the interior design exquisite. To top it off you will find a lovely, eclectic array of art spanning the ceiling and where two of my late father's paintings now reside. The electric fireplace and drinks spectacular make this cozy establishment a 5 star experience. Check it out!!
