The food was very good, served hot and fresh, however, there was nothing exceptional about it, it was just as I said very good... The service was very good... the young lady serving us made sure our drinks were kept full and continuously checked in to see if anything was needed, without being overwhelming! This was all done during a very busy time of the evening! The layout of the restaurant made it easy to over crowd certain areas to walk through. Decent spirits bar style place. The wait wasn’t long. It was different as you order up front, find a table, and then there’s a server for food and drinks. Nice part…Bill is at the end so you can decide on tip after. The food was decent…good flavor but it was luke warm at best. Also a bit greasy for my taste. The drinks were good and nice selections. Leon Springs Texas parentheses San Antonio location.Shelby was awesome. Very attentive, pleasant, respectful, bubbly, upbeat. ! they are lucky to have her. Jeremiah, the manager was very nice. He was asked to come to the table. He was respectful, ready to hear what we had to say. But not surprised that we told him how good Shelby did. I absolutely love Willies! We are from out of town on a last minute honeymooners vacation and this restaurant was completely worth the trip! I had a seafood platter and my husband got the baby back ribs. We ended up splitting everything and it was the best surf and turf I've had in years. The general manager made sure we were well taken care of with the amazing staff 1000 out of 10 would recommend!!! I had never been to a Willie’s before but stopped by on a whim on my way home. I was greeted with the most excellent customer service, amazing food, and the atmosphere was awesome!
