Thank you for an amazing experience. I live in Chicago so I’ve been to many great restaurants and I do like good quality food. Yesterday, I went to eat at the Wilderness Ridge and everything was amazing, the cozy ambiance, with fireplaces, the food, wine and the service. Tuna tartare that comes along fresh and crispy crackers was delicious. Our steaks and crab cakes as well. I liked the variety of sides that are included (2) with your meat. Also good wine selection- we’ve got Caymus. As a dessert- cheesecake (wasn’t a fan) but Tiramisu with fresh fruits- delicious. Overall- Lovely night. I have always enjoyed Wilderness, however my last visit was disappointing. I asked for my burger well done and it was more of a medium rare (lot of pink). Also, they took their triple chocolate mousse off the menu. That dessert was a big part of why I visited. Sometimes the nice thing about a restaurant is you know you can come back and have your favorite dish/dessert. Tried the tiramisu and it was okay but it doesn’t compare to the mousse.
