We Went to the Coralville Strip location after A Hawkeye Game and everything was Terrific!! We got Loaded Cheese Fries with Bacon, Spinach Artichoke Dip and Mozz Sticks and All 3 were Great!! We also got The Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza and The Detroit Style Pizza. I will go there the Next time I am in IA City just to take a Pizza to Go and I am 90 Miles Away!! Great Fast Service, Nice staff. First time there and Will Definitely Be Back!!! My star rating for Wig and Pen is based on 14 years of ordering their pizza. I love their pizza. However, what prompted me to write this review was my experience with them tonight. I was incredibly excited to see that they now offer Detroit style pizza. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed when I got home and actually looked at the pizza. On no planet is this a Detroit style pizza. The only thing this has in common with Detroit style pizza is the shape. There is no sauce!? Also, the hallmark of a Detroit style pizza is the cheese going all the way to the edge of the pan to create a crust. As you can see from the photo, this is not the case. I will continue to order from Wig and Pen for years to come, but I will never order the Detroit style pizza again! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Just went with family from out of town! The service was phenomenal. The food was fresh and tasty and the servings were generous! I got the Crab Rangoon Pizza! Will definitely be back! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
My sister and I visited the other night after a very long and difficult day. I wish I had asked for our server's name but I didn't. She was amazing though! Her friendliness along with a great work ethic made for a relaxing and pleasant end to our tough day! Thank you!

I love this place! The vide is so neat! Staff is great and drinks are always good...but that flying tomato pizza😍😍😍😍yes please. If you like cheese you need to try this one ☝️
Look staff is great. But food was a joke for a $15 pizza you could cook it in the oven properly and not on the cardboard tray. Doesn’t even allow the bottom to get crispy. Plus for the price you could at least make the dough. Also burger not joke tasted like a quarter pound you get at McDonald’s. If you’re going to charge $13 for that come you can easy use 80/20 blend and make your own Pattie’s and season it. Onion rings are actually a thick cut not straws that we were served. For the price I paid for today lunch. I’m definitely won’t be coming back. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
Stopped after a hospital visit. Had eaten here in past years & remembered pizza being good, not this time! Ordered a thin crust Canadian bacon, mushroom & black olives. Menu says fresh mushrooms, ordered using those words “fresh mushrooms” (some places have both) After waiting what seemed like an hour, pizza finally came. We told the server that we had ordered “fresh mushrooms”, she swore they were & that they slice them there daily, but asked kitchen staff, who told her to relay the same message. They must have a magic machine that slices fresh mushrooms to come out canned. Also most restaurants who use fresh put them on top of the cheese. In this case olives were on top but mushrooms were buried underneath? If you don’t have fresh, say so because those of us who cook with fresh & are not a fan of canned cannot be fooled. Crust was soggy & almost nonexistent, enough sauce for 3 pizzas & if you tried to pick up a slice, all the toppings & cheese slid right off. When we got our bill we had been comped 25%. Nice I guess but if you are telling the truth, why comp? Worse pizza I have ever eaten & pricy! We will not be back! Kids Mac & cheese was very good!!! We had a large group on a Saturday for lunch. The servers were great, food arrived in a timely manner. The ravioli appetizer was delicious. Pizzas looked great, especially the deep dish. I ordered the fish and chips. They tasted okay but I felt like I could have gotten the same from the grocery store. Not very impressive considering the price. I'd go again, but order something else. In town for Ragbrai and starving. Locals pointed me to W&P and I’d say they made a great recommendation. Staff was incredibly helpful, a half order onion rings was tasty and way too much for one person, and the spicy Hawaiian on flying tomato was amazing. I couldn’t finish either plate, but not from lack of trying. I then might have killed some time sipping pints. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
