My Boss took me for lunch here, after we found out they had a "Whole Catfish" option on the menu. I myself am not a fan of Seafood, but when the boss says go, we go lol. He got his catfish and was quite pleased. Me being a non-fan of the fish, tried the Alaskan cod. I was hoping it would be like a standard fish and chips, it wasn't. It was a little too fishy, almost as if the flavor of other products was affecting the cod. Overall, Solid 4! If you enjoy fish.... I've been going to White River for years, and it still holds my number one spot for seafood in the Tulsa market. While you can't go wrong with either location, this review is specifically covering the Broken Arrow location. The food is excellent with a wide variety of both fried and broiled options. I love the fact that I have a place where I can get things like sea bass, alligator, and more that you don't normally see on most menus. They also have a market so you can buy fresh seafood directly from them in case you want to do your own cooking at home. I would highly recommend this for anyone who enjoys great seafood! The food is so good that you will forget that you are in the middle of the country. The Gumbo never disappoints, crab cakes are as good as anything I had in DC’s finest and even the dessert is good.

This place is excellent. So many options. We had Red Snapper, Shrimp & Scallops, Red Beans & Rice, Onion Rings, Hush Puppies, and more. It was all delicious. Me owning a Butcher Shop it was near to see their selection of raw seafood that you can purchase and take with you in their Seafood Market. Definitely recommend this place. Very clean, lots of options. Catfish, scallops, stuffed crab, fried shrimp, alligator nuggets, corn, coleslaw, fried okra, Hush Puppies & baked potato were all good. Fries, ehh, they were fries (frozen). With this being said don't expect to go in for a cheap bite. $81.00 for 3 people for lunch is kind of an ouch no matter how good. Although it was good, it's not 5 star good nor was it steak & lobster or whatever, it was fried fish. The staff is very friendly & very attentive! My adult son requested seafood for his birthday meal. Broken Arrow doesn’t have a good selection of seafood restaurants but this one had excellent reviews so we thought we’d give it a try. On entry the restaurant was clean and looked well kept. A lady named Liset greeted us and was so welcoming! She explained the specials and the different types of fish 🐟 as I in particular do not care much for seafood.🍤 I chose the deep fried shrimp plate. My husband, son, and friend chose the Gumbo. Delicious. They certainly give you a plate and bowl full! We will return again and this time I am going to step out of my comfort zone and try the Halibut! First off i love how when you walk in it feels like a real fish market, the food is pretty expensive so be ready to spend 30-40$ easily but its worth it, the menu is kinda of confusing for a basic seafood eater but women at the counter is very helpful i told her i jus want fish and shrimp and she did the rest, staff was pretty nice, i ordered green beans and they were amazingly good, i also got a baked potato which was ok it was jus a potato im foil with butter and sour cream on the side so u gotta dress it up to your liking, the fish was good and fresh but it could use some seasoning because it was a tad bit dry, the shrimp was great as well as the cocktail sauce! No complaints on shrimp as far as drinks they only have fountain drinks and the hostess brings you unlimited fountain drinks, but its kinda confusing because they have the machines where u can get your own drink, all in all its a great place to take the family or go on a date. We stopped in to buy a few fresh catfish and ended up also getting some frog legs to go with. The wife cooked it all this evening and it was delicious. She's such a great cook!! The place is usually clean, and the seafood is fresh and looks great. They usually have a large selection and when we've ordered in it's always served hot and freshly cooked! The atmosphere is like a cafeteria, where you get a tray, utensils and drinks, put in the order then wait until your food is ready. The management and staff are always very nice and always professional. The pictures are from our home cooked meal! Service Take out Meal type Other Price per person $20–30
Throughout the years I've been visiting White River Fish Market, primarily the Northside location I'm the past and more recently I've been visiting the Broken Arrow location. It has been at least a year or so since my wife and I have visited and havent been back since we were underwhelmed. Tonight's visit was great from start to finish. I ordered the broiled red snapper, garden salad, and coleslaw. My wife got scallops, broiled, corn on the cobb, and coleslaw. My fish and her scallops were cooked properly and had good seasoning. We both agreed their coleslaw was on the dry side. My salad was just that, a salad. Corn was served steamed wrapped in foil. Overall, we spent $49 and some change before tip for two broiled meals and one I tea. Service was fast and prompt. The food was better than I remember. We are looking forward to visiting again soon and trying some other entrées. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20
