Rave!! My husband took me to White Mountain Mining last night for an early birthday dinner! Man the food was fantastic, our server was so sweet and attentive. 1000% recommend going in there. They seriously never disappoint!
I recently dined at this restaurant and have mixed feelings about the experience. On a positive note, it was refreshing to find a restaurant that still serves escargot, a dish that has become increasingly rare at many establishments. However, I must mention that the prices at this place have significantly increased. My guest and I both felt that the prices were about 20% higher than they should be, which makes it less suitable for those on a tight budget. This aspect definitely warrants reconsideration. On a brighter side, the service we received was excellent. The wait staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, leaving us with no complaints in that department. However, the presentation of the dishes did not match the high prices. Although my guest and I opted for pasta to save on costs, the dishes were merely average and didn't justify the amount we paid. Overall, both my guest and I miss the old restaurant and its previous business model. Unfortunately, it falls short of our expectations and doesn't live up to its former glory. I was very disappointed with this meal. I asked for a medium rare ribeye, and it came out medium well at best, and it was dry, chewy, and not edible. I had one bite and stopped eating. I left and went to Old Chicago's. I hear that the owners changed, and unfortunately, the quality also did. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
Amazing birthday dinner! Our server Evan was amazing! The Calamari was cooked perfectly. Needless to say our eyes were bigger than our stomachs. Service Take out Meal type Other Price per person $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
My cheeseburger was dry. My wife said her French dip was decent. Our waitress was training someone so I guess that's why she was inattentive. The lighting was good and it wasn't very loud. But we'll probably just go to Applebee's next time and save some $. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4
Horrible . For one as locals that have went to this place to eat for years and years the prices was outrageous. Let alone my mother ( it was her birthday ) ordered a steak medium ($57). Came super well done. I ordered prime rib medium. It came medium rare (51$) my wife got shrimp Alfredo noodles not done and super saucy . ($28) . My question is we sat down at 7pm as a 5 top . A 8 top that order steaks came in 30 mins after us they got served 20 mins before us .A table of 4 (that was also upset . Herd them complaining ) got sat after us got served before us . At which these tables had the same type of tickets but yet ordered after us and got the food before us . Nothing really happened till we complained to the bar tender . Wich told us of a management change that day.... that shouldn't affect your kitchen staff . And orders coming out correctly in a time efficient manner I just paid $200 for a $60 meal still tipped the waitress . That's why this 1 star review is left . Don't plan on going back nor recommending anybody here Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50

Ordered ribeye steak and loves to tell both with twice baked potatoes. They were both absolutely PHENOMENAL!!! They really did do a great job. They cook the steak perfectly, the lobster tail was a 10 oz tail and it was cooked perfectly. Well worth the money. The service was absolutely perfect. We were being a little judgmental because all the gals that were serving were younger and let's face it there as a stereotype, but, our server did a great job. She was really cute and sweet, very attentive and we did keep her running. She came back multiple times all with a smile on her face and a great attitude. The atmosphere is super cute. This is definitely a little gem of a place to find in Rock Springs Wyoming. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Surf and Turf
Onion ring and their ranch is a bomb! Very delicious! We've been here before and the pasta was very good! So we decided to ordered the same dishes again, but to be honest we were disappointed. We ordered Beef Stroganoff Pasta, the meat was overcooked and dry, T-bone steak, also tough meat and Fettuccine Alfredo with broccoli. All these dishes was bland. 🥺 with their prices I really wish the food was good like before. The good side are the presentation of the food are nice, the food came out hot and fresh. And the waitress is amazing!!! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50

Im not sure where to begin, Ive never been here before and i was under the impression that this was going to be a fancier establishment, then im welcomed with the sight of gambling machines. Oh, well. I get sat down next to kitchen swing doors so that everytime wait staff opens them, it slams into my chair. It was almost comical to an extent. I ordered an old fashioned, 15 minutes later i still do not have my drink. A waitress walks out and provides the table behind me with an old fashioned, the guy sips on it and he advised that it was really bad. I tell my waitress to disregard my drink and just to get me a beer. 5 minutes later i finally get it. The spaghetti was mediocre at best with the price tag of almost $25. I witnessed restaurant staff speaking with another patron over poor food. Just an overall bad experience. My waitress was very apologetic and seemed to genuinely care though. She did offer us drink tokens however we were in town on a business trip and wouldnt be able to redeem them. Maybe try somewhere else, or give them time for new management to come in.
