Best steak in Jackson Hole! Don’t be fooled by the hotel restaurant setting, I heard this place has the best steaks in the area, and everyone in our large group agreed (we split the prime rib special). Our server was amazing as well, he’s worked there for years and knows the menu well. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

I came here with my brother our first night in Jackson and we were really impressed. We had a reservation but it took a few minutes to noticed & get seated as there was a large party of guys waiting on a table, but after we sat down it was an excellent experience. I had the elk tenderloin and he the pork chop, both were amazing. He got the carrot cake for dessert which he loved, I got the flourless chocolate but was not into as much. The whipped cream had an almond extract flavor, which was a little over powering, I probably would just split the carrot cake next time. Wayne was a great server and all in all will be back next time I have guests in town! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We had such an amazing dinner here in this quiet little hotel restaurant. We shared a burrata salad, which was so flavorful and delicious…wish I’d gotten a picture, the presentation was also nice. I had the pumpkin pasta and my husband had the pork chop. Both were excellent and we enjoyed them so much! Finished with the chocolate torte and it was also great, although we might have missed the carrot cake, which apparently the most popular. Jon Paul was our server and he was amazing… so attentive and thoroughly explained menu items. Loved our dinner here and highly recommend! Amazing restaurant in the iconic Wyoming Inn. We enjoyed Bison, Beef Ribeye and Idaho trout. The Bison was perfectly seared With a tart hucklerry sauce. The ribeye was complemented with the best mashed garlic potatoes! The Idaho trout was pan fried with perfectly crisped skin! Wow! For desert, the carrot cake was moist, homemade, scrumptious! Highly recommend this restaurant!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I have enjoyed dining at the Whistling Grizzly before and it’s amazing! We were greeted by Kimi, who was very attentive. Jean Paul was our server and he was outstanding!!!! Tilly was also serving and was very kind during our brief interactions. Now on to the food, I couldn’t believe the size of this jumbo shrimp and the sauce was divine! Lastly, order the 32 oz bison tomahawk if it’s available as an off menu item! If you are brave, chew off the bone as there are a few tasty bits you just can’t miss. 10/10 would recommend whether it’s a romantic dinner, a family outing, or a business meal. Had a mixed experience for dinner on a Sunday night (2 adults, 1 kid). Started with the Smoked Trout salad and Astoria salad which were both good (highly recommend the Astoria). My pork chop entree was delicious as well. My husband went with the prime beef rib eye which was very tender but too salty and half of it was more a medium instead of medium-rare. Unfortunately, one of my son’s chicken tenders was still raw in the thickest part of the chicken. I just had him eat the other piece which was fine. I should have said something but there were only 3 people on staff and they were rushed trying to cover all the tables. We also tried the carrot cake which was different (looser crumb, frosting not too sweet) but really good. I would not judge this place by a bad kids meal but I did expect a better steak. We were too tired to go out for dinner our first night, so we decided to eat in the hotel. Were we glad we did! I had the trout, and my husband had the grouper. Both were excellent and served with a gorgeous presentation. Then came dessert.😊 The flourless chocolate torte was good, but it’s very dark chocolate so not as sweet as you may be expecting. The carrot cake was fabulous!!! I’ve never had carrot cake as good as this. Drew was our server and he was awesome. Made great recommendations and took great care of us. Food never disappoints. Jean Paul is a very attentive and pleasant server who gives great recommendations on the menu. The Elk tartare appetizer, Alaskan Char dinner and the trout dinner have been my favorite dishes. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
