Lots of choices on the menu. Don’t get the calamari, though. Too greasy. Potatoes and chicken skewers were excellent, though. Get a half carafe of Sangria to wash it all down. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $30–50 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Bites of friends’ dishes were good (recommend the jerk chicken), but there was definitely something wrong with the sour-ish fish tacos. Not sure if it was the age of the onion, bad mayo, or what, but I couldn’t convince myself to finish more than one and I always clean my plate. The sangria was also juice - don’t expect a “drink”. This place is a vibe. From the food, to the music and the atmosphere. Come for a drink and stay for the amazing fish tacos. The spicy Cajun shrimp are a must have, and I love the Zarzuela which is a tomato based seafood medley with the most tender local fish you will ever have. The service is always amazing and Bill, the head chef and owner is a great guy and a culinary talent. Don't sleep on this place. It has something for everyone... and don't forget to grab a pitcher of Sangria which is the best in the city. Update: this place is still fantastic. Their signature dishes are as good as ever, and the specials are always on point. Staff are really friendly. Yum - unbeatable. Definitely get the Cajun shrimp (creamy, a little spicy, and really delicious). Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Passion Fruit Mousse

Just had a great dinner at Whipper Snapper. The warm spinach salad is so delicious. Like lick the plate delicious. We also had the sliders, which were very tasty. Love the passion fruit mousse for dessert. And the Pilsner on tap is really really good. Will go back again soon. What a wonderful local gem. Let’s support them!
