My food is always hot and fresh and Karla is amazing! Always so nice and sweet definitely the most respectful people I’ve seen in a fast food place. The food at the Gun Barrel Whataburger continues to get worse. At our last visit our hamburgers tasted like they had been sitting out and were over salted. All of our fry containers were half empty and our fries were cold. Plus, they left 2 fries out and we had to go back to get them. I placed my order online using my rewards. When I got to the window he informed me that they only allow rededemption of two reward items at time. We ordered four items and it took all of the points f[r all of them. He still insisted that I pay for two of the items. I told me it gave me two coupons for these items. It did not. My points were still used. He finally accepted the points that he already got and said we do not owe anything. We will contact the corporate office to see if this is a normal practice. The prices here are getting really high. We ordered 2 meals and it was $30. With those prices, the food should be nice and hot and well presented. But our fries were cold. My husband's chili cheese fries were dumped into the bag facing down, leaking chili everywhere. The burgers were okay. But next time I'll take my money and go out to eat. If you want fast food, go somewhere else because it's not worth the money you'll spend here. I won't be going back to this location. Totally messed up our order. Somehow a chicken sandwich became a burger. A kids burger turned into a patty melt. I learned to check our food before driving 20 minutes home. Every time we go there in Gun Barrel, we leave without something we ordered and paid for. When you call them, they say we'll put you on the list. My wife suggested we order online. At least they can read the order, maybe and get it right then. Needless to say, no, they can't read either. People have no pride in their work. Ordered 4 burgers got 3.
