The food is OK, not the great Wendy's of the past - they used to be the quality fast food choice - great burgers, salad bars, baked potatoes, super good fries.... not anymore. Food is average and high priced, but the kids like the nuggets and frosties- so I have to go sometimes. * FYI corporate: this is Florida, why are there NO overhangs or coverings over the order menu speaker or the pick up window! Hello! We get a lot of rain, and it comes straight into the car when ordering and picking up. Not too smart, add some overhangs! Today, Saturday March 2 at 1:40 PM at the Rockledge Crossings store in Rockledge Florida. I had a large order, over $50. I asked the order taker for one special order. He had an attitude but listened to the order. I asked for a cheeseburger with the meat on the side and everything else on the bun with melted cheese. He said ok. Then when I got to the window I realized I had forgotten to order a drink. I asked him if I could add the drink he rolled his eyes but did give me the drink. When I got the order I received an empty bun. The meat was on the side but the cheese was melted on the meat not on the bun. I asked him if he could make it right. He refused. He called his manager and she kept saying we cannot do that. I have gotten that same order other times with no complaints but the manager just kept repeating “we cannot do that.” I am very upset about this considering the amount of money I spent.
