Two cars pulled off as we approached- 1st clue …girl taking orders was so rude and got smart…2nd clue - window had problems with coke machine , but one girl was a able to make 5 huge drinks and carry them somewhere…baked potato was old , cold and smaller than a tennis ball. The girl who handed me the food said thank you so that was a plus - girl who finally handed my drinks …not a word. Went here today around 3pm. First off it’s filthy. The drink machine looks as if it hasn’t been washed in months. The floor is filthy. Trash overflowing. However, the real issue is the fact that it took 25 minutes to service 3 sets of customers and we didn’t even order anything out of the ordinary. I watched 2 employees, 1 of which was a manager, in the back talk for the entire visit about absolutely nothing. 1 employee texted on her phone nonstop while attempting to service customers at the drive-thru in between her text sessions. Then she proceeded to go from texting to handling food with no gloves. There was zero teamwork to ensure customer service. 1 young man and lady were running around trying to cover everything. It was simply awful. I know it’s Wendy’s, but it was just unacceptable.

The food was really…… meh. It tasted as though it had been sitting out for a while and then the burger tasted microwaved. The flavor was all there, but the quality of the burger was not, at all.

In the world we live in today, we need more people like Marcus. He greeted us as soon as we came in and was extremely pleasant. A perfect smile at the front register. A good and kind spirit. Someone who truly seems to care about others and enjoys his job. You just don’t see that anymore and I think it needs to be acknowledged when you do. This is the second time our family has come to this location and been greeted with a friendly cashier. The first was a lady and I failed to get her name. I’d also like to mention the Manager, who I also failed to get her name but she was professional and kind hearted. There needs to be more managers like the one we had the pleasure of speaking to today. In the world we live in today, Be a MARCUS,. from Wendy’s in Olive Branch by the Walmart. Speedy and friendly, the way fast food used to be. I thought customer service had disappeared during COVID but this Wendy's has it! We dined in and were greeted with a friendly smile and got our food hot, fresh and quick! When my wife went to get root beer out of the machine it told her it was out. We let them know and the nice gentleman brought her one from the drive thru. Thank you for going the extra mile!
