We arrived and almost every table had a reserved sign. The staff was very friendly. We sat right away and the menu looked delicious. We tried the beer battered curds to start. I recommend at least 3 people share this. The crust was very unique and curds are. Big. * I had the Phorench Dip Shaved beef, pickled jalapenos, sriracha aioli. * My wife had the Ghee Whiz Marinated chicken, tomato chutney, raita. * And Mom got the Acorn Squash Pot Pie Lentils, Pears, Sage Cream, Butternut Squash Salad We all tried each other's dishes and they were phenomenal. Moms squash pot pie was very interesting it was made in the squash and not in a pie crust. The crust was on top. I found it yummy and a great vegetarian option. As a non-vegetarian, I would have ordered it. For drinks, we their specialty, Apple Cinnamon Old Fashioned. It did not disappoint and we had 2 each. You def need a reservation on nights they have a show at the Opera. You can’t go wrong with Wendigo! They have a rotating menu that features in-season, local foods. Highly recommend the cheese curds and Phorench Dip! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Nice local restaurant in Stoughton with great service and tasty food. The fish fry was very good. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
This is a small, quiet place. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the service was good overall. Friendly waitresses. The cheesecurds are absolutely amazing! They're some of the best I've had. The breading is perfect, and they have the right amount of cheese. The greenbean casserole, in my opinion, was not that great. It's one of the worst I've had, but again, that is just my opinion. Decently priced meals. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Nice ambiance and good food. Liked how they make their own liqueurs; they had a hot pepper infusion when I was there that they mixed into some cocktails. The burger pictured here came with a mac&cheese side (an upgrade I believe).

Such unique entrees, each executed to perfection! Fish fry, baked fish, fried tomato po'boy, the Hey Hey, sweet potato fries, and mango carrot slaw. Even the cocktails were special, as was the flourless chocolate cake that was warmed and served with ice cream and chocolate syrup - yum!
We rented out Wendigo for our rehearsal dinner, and it was honestly incredible. The environment was warm, eclectic and classic, the drinks were yummy and flowing, and the FOOD. Wow, the food was absolutely delicious and such a fun menu that they put together for us. I heard the best things from my mother-in-law about how the staff helped in the lead-up to the night, and I just couldn’t recommend them more for any event or just dinner. Can’t wait to dine in when we’re back in town, thank you Wendigo!
My wife and I come here ever now and again for date night or when we want to be lazy and not cook. They always exceed my expectations. Food is always amazing and waitstaff are super friendly and attentive. Thanks again for another great night out!
