Cheese shoppe is the coolest cafe in State College. The owners are nice, all the baristas are social and happy to talk. The coffee is old-school which is a plus for me, and they regularly roast in house so you get to be there to see that as well. I wish they'd have more outdoor seating, but space is an issue so I get it. Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The Cheese Shoppe's Guatemala Decaf is the best decaf that I have ever had. I travel an hour to get it every three weeks or so. I mix the decaf with regular coffee also from the Cheese Shoppe. It's insanely awesome! I love dark coffee beans and I am very picky. This place puts starbucks to shame! Their French, Burundi, Italian, Costa Rican, and Uncle Willie's Blend are fantastic. I have ordered stuff from all over the country and this place takes the cake. Thank you for being awesome!
Bill was there. I believe he is the owner. He is an attentive nice man. He was really cordial and pleasant. I got half block of Hollandaise cheese (gouda) and coffee. There is a big repertoire of coffee there according to the roasting preference of the clients.
Absolutely one of my Favorite places in state college. Numerous different types of coffee blends, freshly made coffee with different blends each week. Same goes for cheese. The gentleman owner of the place is so nice and knowledgeable about his profession, he even offered me a gift.

I came for coffee but now it's my second home! The shop owner is the sweetest, he's had this place for 25! The place is very cozy and feels like home, flowers, hidden, sky and wind, I love it.

Quaint shop, friendly service and the best coffee I’ve ever had, hands down! I recommended everyone new to town check out this lovely shop, set down from the way fruit market and India pavilion on Calder way. The Haitian is delicious. Cheers ☕️!

Great place to get some fresh coffee or cheese. They also have few baked items like croissants. You can get whole beans - they have an extensive selection to choose from. You can also get them ground. The Guatemalan is a fail-proof choice.

Excellent coffee beans freshly roasted on the premises. Whole bean Vienna Roast gives me the best cup of coffee I've had anywhere.

Nothing like walking in and seeing and smelling the coffee being roasted fresh! Great cheese selection and the Mexican Organic coffee is our favorite.
Their coffee is all so delicious and fresh! I have gotten some of the best coffee beans I have ever tasted here. My sensitive stomach makes it hard to find flavorful yet low-acid coffee beans, and they have many options that have worked so well! The Monsooned Malibar is especially gentle yet flavorful.
