I had dinner two times.
Very basic and ok hotel restaurant food. Had a burger the first night, that was pretty good, but the bun was slightly burned. The next evening I had cod, which was cooked well.
The servers were really friendly the first night. One male waiter on the second night was a bit dull, which made the mood go down.
Anyways, the view to the water is amazing From the restaurant. If its warm enough, having dinner at terrace is must to do!
Clean and modern, you get your food relatively quick even with lots of people eating the same time.

The food was so so, but the view was amazing. Not a lot of options to eat if you're vegan, but the chef made something that wasn't on the menu for my husband. The staff was supersweet and kind, from the waitress that literally ran back and forth to the helpful chef. Would go back again because of the view and the service :)

My experience at the restaurant of Quality Hotel Waterfront for a Christmas dinner/buffet with a group of 16 people left much to be desired. Despite the ease of the booking process and efficient on-site payment system, the overall dining experience fell short of expectations, particularly considering the hefty price tag.
The buffet, priced at 890 SEK per person (excluding drinks), presented a decent variety of dishes. Standouts included the succulent pork belly, flavorful smoked salmon, and delectable crab. However, the overall quality and selection did not align with the high cost, resulting in a disappointing quality-to-price ratio. While some components of the buffet were commendable, they were not sufficient to justify the steep price.
Service during the dinner was straightforward and effective, with no noticeable delays or misunderstandings. The staff maintained a simple yet efficient approach to ensure a smooth dining experience for our large group. Well done to the staff!
Despite the pleasant Christmas atmosphere, the underwhelming buffet failed to leave a lasting impression. Considering the considerable expense incurred—500 SEK per person for drinks alone—the overall value for money was lacking. Unfortunately, the Quality Hotel Waterfront's Christmas dinner did not meet our expectations, and we won't be returning. Comparable and superior dining options in the city offer better deals with lower prices and higher-quality food.
In conclusion, while the convenience of the booking process and the smooth service were appreciated, the subpar quality-to-price ratio ultimately makes it difficult to recommend the restaurant at Quality Hotel Waterfront for special occasions. There are undoubtedly better dining options in town that offer superior value for money and a more satisfying culinary experience.

I went there with my wife to enjoy a dinner and some drinks with a sea view and the waiter asked me if I had a reservation, unfortunately I hadn’t so he said that no table available. After that I went to the restaurant in front, where we had a lovely meal with a nice view and I could see that the entire balcony of the Waterfront restaurant was nearly empty and full of available tables. In summary, bad service

Let's be honest, nobody is here because of the artisanal, masterpiece quality food that (doesn't) exist here. We're all here for the polar bear sculpture out on the dock and the magnificent (Alvsborgsbron, A has the two dots on top) bridge that lay before us.
I believe I had a caesar salad here, and despite them putting cucumbers AND avocados in it, it was really good! If you are in the area and gawking at the polar bear and bridge, I recommend.
