Best customer service I've ever received! Ryan was extremely helpful when my wife and I came in last minute when the tire center was closing. Needed 2 new tires in the middle of a snow storm and desperately in need of help. The whole crew in the tire department made sure we could afford the tires we needed and stayed after closing to install tires. Will definitely come here again and highly recommend this Walmart. Much appreciated to the whole team you guys are amazing and saved the day
The worst service! I’m currently using crutches, and I needed to buy groceries, so I try to use the motor cars available but they were all broken ! I found one with 100% battery and start doing the groceries but it stopped suddenly and I couldn’t turn it on again! I ask for help to the employees twice , they said they’re going to send help . But they just left me there for 30 min ! So I left the groceries in the car and walk away in my crutches !
This Vail-Avon area is pretty expensive. Luckily there is this Walmart. We visited there maybe 5 times and service was good. There is also public toilet if needed.
Good ol Walmart. Usually find everything we need here. A lot of items were out of stock. Maybe we caught them the day before restock? But no complaints as far as that goes. Having to buy your sacks to carry your groceries, now that’s a joke. Colorado thing I guess.
Cool store but tourist season sucks. Way too many people for this small town. Walmart runs out of some things when its this busy too. Sucks for the locals. But it's a good store.
This place is, well, different. Like any grocery store, if you show up after 5 pm during ski season, expect to wade through aisles of tourists four bros deep deciding on what kind of snacks they need to satiate their munchies. It’s outfitted with a lot of the mountain stuff you would expect. And you might think, Oh that can’t be as good as what I can get at REI, and maybe you’re right. It’s not. But I know someone who boarded in Walmart snow pants for the better part of 5 years and they still are warm and water proof. Meanwhile my Armada pants made it a year. His pants cost $50 bucks. I’m just sayin’. Compared to city-center Walmarts it’s better stocked but it doesn’t really come close to suburban Walmarts. Anyway, it’s a smaller Walmart so don’t expect a ton of selection. There’s no produce. The people who work here are pretty great, so be nice to them. And they don’t have any single use bags so bring your own or buys some there. It’s like Aldi’s but with nicer check out people.
Showed up as advised yesterday when I stopped in at 7am today. Sat for 4 hours and they never took my truck in. Asked if I can go wait at home as the people working said it might take till 3 or four. And maybe not even then as my keys aren’t there now. They said if and when I return my order might be canceled.
I’m simply shocked and appalled at the extreme level of unprofessional disservice. I shop Walmart all the time. The auto center people should be fired in Avon Colorado
The fresh foods sold here are rarely really fresh.
One recent purchase was cheese. I bought cheese from here, and when I opened it later at home, it already had green mold growing on it.
Some fruit I bought here stated going bad in under 2 days.
DO NOT BUY FRESH FOOD AT THIS STORE!! It is literally bottom of the barrel food!
Go to City Market, or costco instead. It might more, but it'll be worth it.
The fresh food at this Walmart is not edible!
Good sized Walmart for a reasonably remote location. Staff was helpful, but sheesh, the customers were beyond frustrating. Do typical shoppers only give a stuff about themselves and are oblivious to anybody else around them. With so many apartments in Avon, it makes sense.
