Over the years we have purchased quite a few cakes from Walmart. Last year I started to not like their customer service because I had ordered a cake for my son and they didn’t tell me until the day of that their decorator was on a leave of absence so my cake wasn’t finished. I put the order in 2 weeks early and she didn’t go on leave until a week after that.. this year I decided to try again. The lady seemed confident in my easy design request. I wanted a specific color scheme. My daughters theme was “two groovy” pinks oranges some yellow. The cake I received was purple blue pink and orange. Didn’t match at all. It had a crack down the center and the hand writing was extremely sloppy. Also the filling didn’t cover the whole cake. It was the thinnest layer I’ve ever seen and all the edge pieces were filled with frosting not filling. Very disappointed and probably will stop ordering from them at this point… in the photo you can see the crack and the awful colors and hand writing. The “two groovy” picture is what I wanted.
