I ordered a sandwich and my side was beans. The chicken was tasty and flavorful, but the much better value to be had was with the Tender Box (which my bf purchased for his meal). It was more food and the presentation was better. He shared some of his fries with me when I stared mournfully at his food. When mine arrived, the little cheese flopping out of the sandwich looked kind of melancholic to me. The food was good, but if I come again I’ll pick the special for the better value. We are new to the area and decided to give Waldo's a try. It did not disappoint! The customer service was just as good as the food. We were greeted with big smiles and lots of knowledge about the menu and great suggestions. The roasted chicken was very tender, the greens were really good and the banana pudding *chefs kiss*. Ben the Assistant Manager had the best hospitality. I highly recommend this location both food and staff were amazing! Oh aaaaand they have that "good ice"🙌🏾 Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes French Fries
I used to work at both Raising Canes, and Slim Chickens. The chicken, while a little too breaded, was seasoned beautifully! I came with my family, and they all had good experience here! Going onto the negatives, the only thing bad was some cold Mac n cheese which they brought a new, hot one. Thank you to the staff for giving my family and I an amazing first experience!! Healthy sized chicken tenders, great sauces for different palates & great chicken BBQ nachos! They have a great selection of local, front-range brews on tap. My ONLY complaint is it's always cold inside. Great fun, family atmosphere! Make sure to look at the chicken themed posters! Came across this gem today out at Southlands! Delicious chicken & great service, the manager Laura was really friendly and informative. To top things off, they even have arcade games which my 6 year old loved 👍 We tried the kids meal, fowl mouth chicken sandwich which had a yummy Habenero oil and jalapeño slaw as well as the southern chicken sandwich that my husband enjoyed that had some pimento cheese. Overall, this place was genuinely a great find that we will definitely return to & they also have a drive thru for a quicker stop 🐔 Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Kids Chicken Tenders
We had a good experience at Waldo's last night. It was pretty busy when we arrived around 530 PM, but there were still a good number of parking spots and seats available. We sat at the bar and ordered some drinks. They had a beer special before 6 PM: buy one, get one free. Obviously, that's fantastic. Be on the lookout for their deals. Their local beer selection is great, 10+ on tap. The food we ordered turned out delicious. The tenders with their house-made sauces were very tasty. The chicken was well made and juicy. The sides, potato wedges and the coleslaw (a sweet recipe), were great additions. The nacho dish was equally good. You're getting a lot for the little you spent here. We ended up paying around $50 for two people, which included two full meals and four alcoholic beverages. It's easy to pay almost double that in many other places in the Denver metro area. We'll be back! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Kids Chicken Tenders

This is hit or miss. The chicken is good, but the prices are high! My husband ordered tenders and substituted onion rings for fries. They charged $3 EXTRA dollars and he got 3 onion rings. Total ripoff. They charged for an extra tiny container of butter for the biscuits and didn't actually give us the butter. $25 (including a 20% for the takeout). We spoke to an assistant manager who was so nice and helpful, but we won't likely go back. It's just too expensive for what it is. Edit after the manager's response: Taking the fries away that we paid for and adding 3 average "hand crafted" onion rings is absolutely not a $3 value! This response cemented our decision to not come back to Waldos.
We checked out Waldo’s yesterday, which was the first day of their opening. The service was great. The guy through the mic was really nice, conversational, attentive and even jokingly threw in a reminder for drinks which we didn’t plan to purchase. He was fun. The girl at the windows was smiley and sweet and kind. We got a Google at the free beer tomorrow sign and the parking lot seemed full but the drive thru was quick. As for the food, it was good. The overall style is sometimes to Slims or Cane’s. The chicken strips are darker with a crisper texture which I loved. The fries were slightly soggy this time. Idk what’s normal but those weren’t my fave. The orange creamy dipping sauce has a good flavor, Cole slaw isn’t my thing but hubby liked it. The Mac and cheese is corkscrew pasta and had real cheese on it so it was great. The cornbread is like mini muffins. Definitely get extra. The butter it came with was slightly sweet and a nice little treat👍 we will definitely be back 😊 Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5
From a family born and raised in the south. This food reminds us so much of home. The food is very seasoned and taste great. Everything from the chicken to fried pickles and fries or even the Mac n cheese are amazing. And the sweet tea and food is the best in Colorado. And with reasonable prices this is hands down the best overall restaurant in the state.. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We recently stopped in to try the new chicken “joint” because my daughter had a school benefit thing. My first impressions of the restaurant was very positive! The atmosphere is amazing, with video games for the kids, a bar for the adults and a friendly staff. Then came the ordering, the young woman at the counter seemed very confused when I was peering at the menu, and when I told her it was my first time she didn’t really help me decipher the menu well, while very friendly, she could have been a little more helpful. I ordered two kids chicken tender meals and two 1/4 pound white fried chicken meals to go. Next came the wait… the very long wait. Probably somewhere close to a 30 minute wait. I realize it was busy with the school function, but that is a very long time to wait for “good food fast”. Finally when the food came, the young woman brought me the bag and was very apologetic about the wait and mentioned that they included banana pudding as a complimentary item due to the wait. When we got home and ate the food, the kid’s chicken tenders were good. The meat was tender and outer skin was the right consistency of crispy but not overly breaded. However, the fried chicken left a lot to be desired. It seemed overcooked. It was dry, chewy and felt there was more fried skin than meat. Overall. The atmosphere was great, as well as the customer service, but the fried chicken was not very good.
