Average at best…. I was super excited to try out this hole in the wall, dive looking restaurant! I love a good dive! The staff was nice, but the service was pretty dismal. The food portion was OK and I was able to finish everything on my plate. Don’t let the picture fool you because the plate is pretty tiny and makes the food look like it’s filling a big plate! The food didn’t seem like anything spectacular and was really just basic. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the gravy was flavorful. Service Dine in Price per person $10–20

Waitress was very rude as soon as we walked in. Took awhile to even get menus. We realized she was the only waitress so we were being polite and waiting for our turn. When she finally came to take our order the first order was interrupted saying that she needed to check if they had gravy. It's a breakfast place and we didn't understand why they wouldn't have that ready when half their breakfast options come with gravy. Came back to the table again rudely to say they only had enough gravy for two entries. 4 of us at the table wanting gravy and she rudely asks what were going to do. Worst service ever. As we decide to leave tells us they can make more gravy but will take 20 mins. Won't be back to see if they have gravy. We came here with no idea what it would be like, based on a family recommendation. The restaurant looks a bit worse for wear, but in a charmful way. The food was good and plentiful, and for a fair price tag. Even as a vegetarian you won't leave hungry. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Diner style and enough divey to ensure yummy food. Breakfast and lunch and pay with cash only. Fabulously flavorful burger was big enough to share in the half pound size. Fries were crispy perfection. My dad eats here a lot and says their breakfast is excellent. Especially their grits.

Place is run down but has character. French toast had a hair on it when delivered. I picked it off and just didn’t eat that slice. Biscuits and gravy were bland but made worse by the fact the gravy was luke warm at best and the biscuits were actually colder in the center. Potatoes were seasoned well, could have used a few more minutes on the grill. I’m guessing the ratings are held up by locals that have special sentiments about the place. This place was AMAZING. When you go somewhere for the first time, you never know what you are getting. However, this seems like where the locals hang out. . Service was great , food was delicious! I had the biscuits and gravy , which I was told is homemade every day! This is an old school establishment , so don't let the outside look deter you away. If you are looking for homemade local food, this is the place to go!!!!
