This is a great place to get breakfast. When I entered the restaurant, I was greeted by welcoming interaction. This is the best Waffle House staff of any WF I have visited. The sausage hashbrown bowl is my go to and never disappointed. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I've never had an issue here before. Went in tonight and ordered, scrambled eggs and Texas cheese steak melt, with 4 tables of people the cook was cooking everyone's order at once. My issue is mine was all fully cooked just sitting there for 5 minutes then I told my waitress that I didn't want the food, i paid for my sweet tea and tipped her and went somewhere else to have dinner. Watching my food get cold just got to me. Nobody got rude as soon as I said something the cook released it and started to plate it.. too late Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5

I like this location better than any other. Staff is consistent. They have had the same staff for years. They seem to work well together. Food is great. Long time customer. I’ve been to a Waffle House….. but Petal Waffle House just blew all Waffle Houses out the water. My food was so good! My waffle was fluffy and DELICIOUS!! I mean…. It a Waffle House lol. It's everything you would expect from a greasy diner. Food is still good and delicious just like it was 20 years ago and there is always nice older ladies to talk to and laugh with. After moving away it's been years since I ate at Petal Waffle house. When I left it was fantastic but now what a joke. I called in an order to pick up one night the waitress was rude af. So I gave her the benefit of the doubt and tipped her 5 dollars for a to go order. I figured it was just a busy night, I shouldn't have she was still rude in person. We'll I get home my bread wasn't even toasted and my omelet was raw. Slimy and raw. Definitely won't be back. They need to do some training on the wait staff and cooks. Place was packed on a Monday at 10:30 in the morning. Crazy busy. Sabrina did a great job. The bald guy cooking was slinging food fast on and off the grill. My food was hot, fresh, and waffle house tasty (come on folks this aint gourmet)!

Mary and Sam are great servers there. Sam's husband used to be a Cook and cooked the food the best. Atmosphere was all around better, friendlier and there was in my opinion more regulars. With that said, food is still pretty good, and service is still pretty good. And this location is better than the Hattiesburg ones for sure!
