It's a quick basic meal and if you want your eggs and hash browns, it's always the place to go. The coffee is always hot and there's always plenty of it. If you want a t-bone steak, go to a steakhouse. Don't b**** about the ones here. Great staff had a good meal. Got what I expected for the price I ate expected to pay. My experience with the St. George location has always been excellent. I have not eaten here late at night but the morning and afternoon crews are top notch. I have never had a bad meal. This is just a little skeeb of a Waffle House, but they do everything just right! From the Waffles, to the hash browns, I was impressed with everything! It came so quickly too!! Thankful to have been able to get in and sit right down too! Our waitress was helpful and courteous, but forgot about our Waffle that came with our orders, but once we rectified that issue, everything was golden brown like the hash browns....I realize you can't rhyme the same word, but I was pleasantly surprised how nice that sounds. Food was picture perfect not to mention the service. The turn off was the cook and others kept using there phone and taking earbuds out of there ear without changing there gloves. Great food and wonderful service. Our server Theresa was wonderful and was constantly checking on us. The restaurant was very clean and comfortable and cozy. My wife and I both ordered the Texas cheesesteak melt with double hash browns and coffee to drink. I added bacon to my cheesesteak and also added cheese, ham and mushrooms to my hash browns. They were both very good and reasonably priced. The coffee was great as well. Definitely a place worth stopping by if you are traveling through. Conveniently located right off I-95. 1/2/23 we proceeded at 10:00 PM to stop at waffle House to place an order to go since we’re on the road as truck drivers. Our waitress (blonde girl) was very helpful and friendly. We proceeded to place our order. (I told her I wanted my hashbrowns scattered because I like them crispy not soggy. It’s a texture thing for me ) so we place our order and we paid! Then she turns around and tells the other waitress a dark haired girl to tell go outside and tell James to come inside and do his job. She makes a comment about I’m tired of this guy and him not wanting to do his job. so then James comes in and proceeds to start cooking while he’s on a FaceTime call and I’m paying attention to how they’re cooking my meal I realize he’s not scattering my hashbrowns, so I proceeded to tell the dark hair girl to let him know to please scatter my hashbrowns. She tells him, and he ignores her while on FaceTime . At the same time. A young blonde haired boy comes in grabs an orange juice makes a comment of nobody saw anything and walks out. Darker girl looks at the blonde haired girl, and tells her oh so we just let them come in and steal blonde hair girl was at the corner eating comes over and starts telling dark her girl it’s not stealing… so then I proceeded to tell the blonde haired girl hey can you let him know to scatter my hashbrowns? As she gets close to him to tell him he’s already packing up my soggy hashbrowns she tells him and he makes a comment and says well that’s not how they were requested them, so then I proceeded to say yes I did order them like that ur waitress must of not wrote it down, and then he says that’s what I said, but in a very rude, sarcastic voice, at this point my boyfriend didn’t like the way he responded to me and he was like why are you gonna make them again? The guy turns looks at my boyfriend and says “yeah OK“ tells him about in a menacing, sarcastic voice, at this point my boyfriend felt I had been disrespected and he had been disrespected so then he got a little loud. Guy told waitress the blonde one to refund my money. She goes to the back comes to the front doesn’t refund my money, at this moment, I already knew they had been extra and called the cops. I told the blonde haired girl OK give me back my money refund my money she refunded the cash, but made an excuse and said she didn’t know how to refund using the card… cops got there and they asked for us to be escorted out but they didn’t want to give me my refund. They put it on a piece of paper to refund me but they didn’t refund me at that moment.
