At first I thought it was raw but egg, but I ordered scrambled and they were well cooked so that was ruled out. I don’t even want to think of this being someone’s mucus, just distrusting. This location and the staff were awesome. We came because my baby girl wanted a waffle for her birthday breakfast. And they did not disappoint. The service was amazing. They played a birthday song for her. Some staff members went further. They all worked together. You can tell they love their job and coming to work. Me and my daughter's discovered we have a few songs in common that we listen to with one of the staff members(lol). The food came out quickly, and it tasted so delicious. Well apparently if you're not white you get low class service. One waitress that's been somehow working there 25+years is allowed to say she won't serve black people or people of color. The fact we even employ/tolerate that behavior for any reason is sick. Yall really want to live like the south did back when huh?? Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Okay... I'll start off by saying that they were severely understaffed. This particular night we went I believe was the 21st of April. We were down for a women's conference and the restaurant was pretty busy with only three staff trying to do everything. It wasn't very clean, But again, they only had three people working. one server, one cashier, one cook and one of those three were trying to do all three. He was however very polite. But there were no clean tables. We had to clean our own til the manager could stop to even greet us. Except for at least 30 minutes before anyone came to the table and another 15 minutes after that to get a drink of water. By time, it's time to cook our food. Everybody was clearing out so it got out relatively fast. It was okay. I was starving though too. Lol I feel like if this establishment had a better staffed shift, The experience might have been a little better. Felt bad for them. The one who appeared to be the manager did a great job. It just was a lot for three people to handle, especially with the conference right around the corner. But I appreciate their hard work. They were trying at least. The Service is horrible to me. I'm here now and I sat for 20 mins and no one acknowledge me. They look but didn't acknowledge. As I'm writing this they now want to acknowledge but I said, "naw I'm good I'm bout to go" literally unacceptable. I mean back in the day when I was doing these lil fast food/ food spots. I was on it, only because everyone deserves good service. If I did stayed no tip was coming from me lol smh. They literally looked at me etc no acknowledge until I'm bout to leave. First impression is everything and this first impression, disappointing. -5 stars Service: 1

Cook was smoking a blunt outside on the phone while we was waiting for service. Waitress was acting like she was sprung out on drugs couldn’t concentrate. Order was made wrong twice then we are asked to pay cash instead of cards so they can pocket the money! Upon arrival I placed a to-go order. After placing said order I was told it would take about 25- 30 minutes for my order to be prepared, I ended up waiting an hour for my food. Once I got home I realized that my bacon was undercooked, my waffle was hard as a brick, and so were my grits. The staff was very friendly however they were very unorganized. This is definitely not a place I will be revisiting for breakfast.
