All empty tables and the counter were dirty. We were never greeted or acknowledged. Once we finally seated, there was no smile, no welcome. After our initial order, the waitress went about her dish washing. We received our drinks after we received our food and was never asked if there was anything else we needed. There were not many customers inside and they had 3 waitresses. The cook and food was excellent, but that won't win back our business. Service was the worst. 12/18/2023 8pm I arrived to place a To-Go order, and there were three staff members and only one family in the restaurant. The gentleman who took my order was a young guy who provided great customer service. The only disappointment was that they were out of utensils for my order. No biggie, I was at a nearby hotel who had plastic cutlery. My food was good and with that...I can't find a reason to give less than five stars. It’s a Waffle House, the original Southern diner atmosphere. What makes this one awesome is the staff that have been there for a while, friendly and capable. The coffee is hot and the food is great if you aren’t happy they will quickly remake anything to make you happy. We are not locals but swing by 4 or 5 times a year and have always been satisfied. I enjoyed the cleanliness, friendly, and quick service. I was craving grits and the waitress was very helpful. She told me about the sausage, egg, and cheese Grit Bowl which I did not have a clue there was such a plate in the menu. This place is open 24/7 Monday through Sunday. The waffle House has a new Peach waffle, must come back and try it. By the way my Grit Bowl was delicious!

came in here and asked for chili on my hash browns, cook looked at me crazy and told me it would be 30 minutes before they’d be ready. the look she gave me was absolutely insane as if no one had ever asked for chili before. left promptly and went somewhere else Service Take out Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

We stop by at 6:00 am and the lady say she can only do takeout bc she has to go home. She let go 3 customers bc she has to go home? How horrible is this??? Then people complain why business is closing down? It’s the employees who screw businesses, they do not care, people nowadays are lazy. Service Dine in Service: 1

Feel bad posting this, the grill person wasn't too enthused about having to work. I got his name, but because I truly don't believe the kid purposely knew how bad he was, I will not put him on blast. I should have known to see an empty parking lot at peak time, something was wrong. I ordered a a grand slam and another order everything from the toast, to the bacon was burnt. It was terrible. They offered to remake it. I declined and went to another waffle house down the road. Buford. Manager, your staff might need some retraining. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

Drove 15 minutes to this Waffle House, and only got to make it out the vehicle (didn’t even close the door yet) before a worker that was outside behind the the building talking a “break” approached me to say “ma’am weren’t doing to-go orders only”. There was 2 other employees out there taking “breaks” as well. While we sat in our vehicle to find a different location a party of 4 walked, they were sitting at a table when we pulled in. I believe they just didn’t want to do their jobs and serve dine in customers. If they can do to go they can do dine in. Covid isn’t an excuse there’s other places with lobbies open for dine in now. First waffle that this has ever happened at.
