We met here the afternoon of Christmas Eve because Cracker Barrel was closed. The food and service were okay. I tipped $24 on an $80 bill since it was Christmas. People love to give Waffle House a bad rep, but if anything it's cheap, quick, and filling. They do a good job here to make sure your order is quickly taken and you've got a drink or coffee. No frills, but still polite service. 👍 Never had a bad time here and never had to wait more than 10 minutes for food. It was cold outside aroubd 9:30 so we went in for some warm breakfast and coffee. The A/C was on and it was freezing! I asked if they could turn it down and the server said they had no control over it.. WHAT!!! Our food got cold pretty fast. We Ate quick and warmed up in our truck. Bummer... Classic WH, can't complain! I was greeted timely and the banter between employees is always entertaining to watch. This is my spot for 3am food and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else! I try not to have huge expectations but to sit and eat your breakfast after driving all night, and sit and listen to a manager or boss or something constantly yelling at their employees and scowling the whole time, was quite annoying. Most of the employees were standing around on their phones while there were customers. Now, while the employees were with customers, they were very friendly and attentive. My husband eats here every morning because they are very fast, accurate and friendly. Food is very close to always spot on. We take our grandkids a couple times a month (2 and 3 years old) and we always have a pleasant visit. The service was great. The male cook with the tattoos was really rude. We came in after a football game and ordered the All Star Breakfast. His response was I heard 3 All Stars. That's SH$$ they can cook at home. Not again will we go back.

We waited more than 20 mins for a clean table while the employees just stand around doing absolutely nothing. Staff was rude especially the manager on duty. No one even acknowledged us when we walked in no it will be a just a minute no nothing. A couple came in after us, after waiting a few minutes & no one assisted or even acknowledged them ,they walked out. The staff then proceeds with saying " they will be alright if they can't wait a few minutes go somewhere else. This was coming from the manager & staff. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
