I have lived in the Chittenden county area for years and have tried just about every Chinese restaurant in the area. Volcano Asian Cuisine is genuinely one of the best. My girlfriend is quite the sushi lover and she thinks the sushi here is the best in Chittenden county, if not all of Vermont. Everything else we have tried (crab rangoons, lo mein, won ton soup, fried rice) were excellent. It’s definitely one of our three favorite chinese restaurants in Chittenden county, along with Oriental Wok (Essex) and Yummy (Colchester). Ordered pad Thai and spring rolls from here. I was expecting something else, but it turned out I meant to order egg rolls. That’s totally on me, and the spring rolls were so good (a little noodle forward though!) The pad Thai was so yummy. Pad Thai is either completely bland or too spicy for me, so I was pleasantly surprised by the pad Thai here. I only wish they opened earlier so I could get it for lunch at work! The food is always really good. Would recommend getting a meal option with the soup and salad, the dressing on the salad is really good. Best Asian food in Vermont! The sushi was so good and so was the steak stir fry. Coming from Boston I missed good sushi and finally feel like we found it.
