We drive 30 minutes (sometimes more with traffic) to eat at this place. There’s food that’s already prepared or you can order from a menu. What I love most is that the food tastes homemade. The staff are warm and last time we even chatted with the chef. We typically eat at the table inside, pack more for our next meal, and pick up groceries. Wonderful clean and friendly one-stop shop.
Rates are high when compared to the other Indian grocery stores , if you want to shop something quick near Hayward and does not want to travel far to union city or Fremont then consider it. If you are looking for a proper grocery or any bulk purchase then I would suggest going to Fremont. Note: This place does not have much of veggies or fruits.

The food is great, it has bold and complex flavors. Usually it is spicy, but if you ask them to adjust the level, they do that as well. The store is comparatively new, but they have essential Indian grocery. The staff is very helpful and they have a very inviting vibe. Must try! Chole! Also check out their street food fest… :)

Dropped by to try the deli. What a nice experience, everyone was actually happy and courteous. The vegetable thali plate, eggplant, dhal makhni, mushroom paneer, rice and roti were WONDERFUL. I really look forward to my next visit. THANK YOU!!!

Great grove try store for South Asian/ Indian groceries. They have a small cafe inside the store. Although service is great, food can be a hit and miss. Paneer and Chhole is usually good, chaat is also good but other veggies can be tricky. We usually come here for a quick bite, if we are in the north Hayward neighborhood.

December 2023: Just discovered this Indian grocery store in Hayward. The interior was newly remodeled before the grocery store opened It’s a fantastic experience coming here. The owner is very friendly and helpful. They’re open from 9 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week. They have an exceptional variety of both north and south Indian groceries: spices, dals, frozen vegetables and a big selection of chapatis and parathas, fresh vegetables and fruits Their prices are reasonable and much better than the Fremont Indian grocery stores. They also have a restaurant indoors, where they serve a vegetarian Punjabi thali for $9.99. This is an excellent deal. They have a table for inside seating and they also serve excellent chai. It’s about time a good grocery store opened up in Hayward!

Friendly people, great variety of Indian food products. Cafe food options are also good and tasty. Sometimes curry from the buffet are not good. Paneer was hard and felt old.

My go to grocery for Indian ingredients. They have great prices and all of the lesser known spices and rices that I need. Super nice staff too and tonight they treated me to a fresh samosa, delicious! Will need to try more of the food!
Terrific place with very friendly and attentive staff. Always pleasant experience here. The buffet has a lot of variety and top quality and the samosas, pakoras are of top quality. The groceries are fresh too. My go to place to be with good people.
