An absolute gem! 🤩 We were staying around the corner and stopped in here while we waited for our dinner reservation and it was such a lovely experience. The staff were very well versed in local wines and were ready with recommendations based on what we liked. We had our eyes opened to the wonders of the Uruguayan wine industry and are now keen to explore it further! The cheese and charcuterie options were also outstanding. Encouraged us to stay around that little bit longer! Definitely five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Price per person $600–800 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Cheeses Tray
Giving 5* for the very nice and kind service and for the overall atmosphere. But when we visited the one solo waitress was unable to attend all tables in a timely manner. She forgot about our cheese plate order altogether and the service was incredibly slow. Apart from that it is a great place!! Price per person $600–800 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Discovered this Gem during out stay in December 2023 went 4 nights. The best Empanadas ever! Really enjoyed the local Artisan cheeses and the Uruguayan red wine was something I will miss. My first & last time as I live in West Australia. Highly recommend! 🇦🇺 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We had an incredible experience here. We tried the ‘degustación’ of 4 types of wine and the cheese and embutidos, and everything was delicious. The owner was extremely kind and explained to us the different types of wines and local products. Would most definitely recommend to anyone looking to try local products, at a fair price.
What a delightful place. Stopped in after sunset to try Colonia wine and cheese. Gentleman working was lovely. Everything was delicious. Enjoyed the tranquility sitting inside with views of the sunset sky, poetry books on the table, and nice music playing. Highly recommend stopping in!

Impressive selection of Uruguayan wines. The menu offers different combinations of wines, charcuterie, and cheeses. Empanadas are also an option. A lot of times, I do not like the wine I get in restaurants. I really liked the first two, which were served. The server thoroughly explained each of them. Price per person $800–1,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Couldn't find many options for a wine tour in Colonia. This place was a great substitute. Tasted 5 excellent wines. Staff provided guidance on choosing wines I was interested in. Their English was great and they were able to provide lots of information about each wine. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
