Had a party of 6 on a friday night. The service was great especially considering it was packed. One reviewer wrote it the place had a Cheers atmosphere. Spot on. Half the restraunt started sweet carolyn when it was playing. The food was good but not great. The table had cod platter, baked cod, chicken fingers and steak sandwich. I tried them all. The food prices are reasonable with a good quantity. The drinks were good with decent amt of alcohol. If you are looking for a lively place this is for you. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

We had a great time. I brought my daughters and two nieces to Village Tavern, and everyone loved it. The ribs were FIRE!!! The chicken fingers were also good. This was our 1st time here, and we will definitely be going back.
