This is not like the old owners and operators. First off they were completely out of fried clams fountain drinks and so forth. The man working the counter had no customer service skills. I have been coming here since 1990 and it is horrible. The so called friend shrimp were just a little larger than my thumb. The fries I ordered were such a small portion. They can and have done way better in the past. Unless they change drastically I will never return. As far as atmosphere, it is so quiet in there. The tables are old and tops are dirty and sticky to the touch. Never again will I pay 16.60 for this. Oh by the way if you pay with credit card they charge you extra. I went to Manhattan in May and went to about 25 of the top pizza places. Village Pizza sits along those easily. It has such a distinct flavor I guess I can understand why someone wouldn't like it. I guess. But man is it spectacular. Is it greasy? Yep. But something about it is just amazing. I would love to try other toppings, but unfortunately he plain peperonni is so good, I just have to get that everytime. The greek salad is also hands down the best salad I have ever had in my life. A great deal too. Also, if you have never tried the cheeseburger sub, then you are missing out. its so good, i cant even describe it. Try it. then buy it 100 more times. It that good. Also i take back what i said. I cannot understand how someone doesn't like Village Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Ok so I’ve had pizza from Chicago. I’ve had pizza from NYC, pizza from Boston, CA, and Detroit. I’m telling you this is some of the best pizza I’ve had. Right here, in Texas City. Period. I’m not even one to leave a review, but I seriously felt compelled to write this with how good it was. I ordered the thin crust pepperoni with garlic, and the village special. I will no longer be ordering pizza from anywhere else. So glad they reopened this place! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Deedee I think her name is? Is AMAZING. She’s so friendly and knowledgeable. She’s also quite the salesman. She convinced me to try the chocolate mousse cake. I ended up getting 2 and she was right, they’re delicious! We’re so happy Village is up and running again Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This is a little hole in the wall but it's one of the best restaurants in Texas City. I got delivery the first time (through BringMeThat) and dined in the second time. Both times, the food was excellent. The dining area is dated, but clean. They have a pretty wide variety of food items and so far, they are all very tasty. Definitely worth a visit.

Not what it used to be. I ordered two Philly cheese steak subs for a co worker and i while on lunch. It was terrible. Dry and puny. No pride taken in what goes out their doors at all. Corporate should shut this place down. Other village locations are NOTHING like this and I was extremely let down in every aspect. Won’t be returning.

Everyone was nice but couldn't seem to get my order right. Gave hamburgers but then had to wait for my fries. Clams were way over cooked.

First time there and did not even get to order. I arrived about 7:25 pm went inside to the counter looked at the menu and a man came from the back and told me he not taking any more orders tonight he has enough for tonight. No one else was there and he wasn't cooking,door was no locked also signs on so I turned and left but he didn't lock up just went of around the corner. However maybe he just didn't want to waste time on a single black man's order who knows . I just know I spend the whole day in hospitals and ambulances and think if I enter your open establishment in full uniform I should be able to make a purchase. I maybe the EMT that shows up to your emergency. Just don't go there.
