Read about this place online. Great reviews so I tried it. Ordered two Sausage subs, one with Mariana sauce + mozz and the other with peppers, onions & mustard. 5 super Stars! When you're in Downtown Apopka make a point to visit Verona Cafe. Great takeout and dine in options for high quality hot and cold sub sandwiches, pizzas, salads, and dinners. Atmosphere is very simple but you will love the food so don't miss out. I recommend the Philly Cheese Steak. Delicious, reasonably priced, and generously portioned. Awesome local family owned restaurant. We ordered a large deluxe pizza and spaghetti. The pizza was great! I didn't try the spaghetti, but the fact that my wife and daughter didn't leave any remaining tells me it was also good. Happy to have found this place and will certainly be my go-to pizza place!
