The food was absolutely delicious. The serving sizes are enough to share. We got 2 orders of Mac and cheese pulled chicken bowls, a sloppy Joe sandwich, and a side of cheesy hashbrowns. It was $49 with a tip and our family of 4 has enough food for another meal. We’ve had Vern and Ellie’s catered twice this last year for family events and we ALWAYS get asked where the food was from. The cheesy hash browns are always a fan favorite! This is the best BBQ place in Lincoln. There is only one person who works, and she owns it. You may wait a bit in the drive thru to order, but it is more than worth the wait. She is only one person.
