Super disappointed in how I was treated here. My husband and I were craving turons/banana egg rolls. Upon walking in, the two women working there looked at us up and down (I’m assuming to see if we were Filipino, which we’re not). I waited behind someone else that just bought something. When she finished, I walked up and asked if there were any turon/banana egg rolls left. The woman at the counter said that there’s no more, quietly, so I said “huh?” And she said “no more” and looked away. I asked her if there would be more tomorrow and she said “don’t know.” Again, she said it quietly and looked away. So I wanted to make sure I heard her right, because we wanted to come back tomorrow to buy some and I was hoping to find out the time they would have them. So I said “you don’t know?” And she said “don’t know.” There was no one else waiting in line, so they weren’t even busy at the time or anything… Needless to say, we will never return and will not ever recommend this place ever again. We bought 50 turons for a party just last week, too. So bummed that we supported them with this type of service we received today… And for anyone else that is looking for turon, we were so excited to find that Gabrielle’s Food Market across the street also sells them and they’re just as good, with much better service. When i am in North San Jose I always make a visit here for lunch. Prices are reasonable for lunch and the food is fresh, tasty and hot.
Love the fresh and warm pan de sal. Palabok is delicious, too.
The bread is good and fresh all the time the roasted peanut too Service Take out Meal type Other Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Pancit

This hot spot never fails to deliver delicious Filipino delicacies. You'll find many desserts to satisfy your sweet tooth. My personal favorites are palabok, turon, kare kare, ube pandesal, and kalamay. Remember to grab a ticket number once inside. Finding parking can be an issue during popular times but the walk is worth it.
I love many things here like fried bananas ( but recently the turons were soggy and not completely cooked, pls note ) and coconut buns ( the best). Will support this business more but pls make sure your turons are well cooked yo keep the crunch
