Went there to have lunch one day and dinner in another day. They have a 15 Euro menu that includes bread and olive, a starter (e.g.: chicken salad, tuna salad, etc.), main dish (around 6 choices), drink, dessert OR coffee. Good quality for the price. Food amazing, tourist menu had sardine toast & tuna salad both lovely. Veal do doura was divine and chicken kebab was good. Great service as well. My husband and I ate there last night. Great food and lovely, helpful staff. Would def eat there again when back in Monte Gordo. Huge, tasty portions. Best restaurant we have found on this holiday. Meal type Dinner Price per person €30–35

Food was okay but not a great overall experience. Just...Meh! Loud, noisy, very basic, not much variety. At least traditional Portuguese food. But, without any "finesse" . If you want a basic, decent meal while watching the News in a loud place, it's ok. Not a place to take someone if you want to impress. I won't go back though. Cheerful experience as owner speaks a lot of languages and there were lots of people despite the low season. Menu at 12.50 seemed like a bargain, and starter, drink a'd desert were indeed fine, however the main dish was disappointing. I had a tuna steak which was not tasty and sauce from a package. My girlfriend had a scampi spies which was OK, but difficult to screw that up. I would not go again, despite friendly owner.
