This place is absolutely amazing. We got the Premium beef Carne Arrosto and the Fettuccine Alfredo and did upgrade the side to a Caesar salad. Everything was delicious and fresh. My partner picked me up from work yesterday. We both were tired and had our 5 month old in tow. Everything in Asheville was annoyingly crowded and I just wanted to get home. Driving home, I remembered a few of my friends have recommended this restaurant so my partner called and they had a spot for us within minutes. It was such a warm experience. The inside is cozy, our server was so kind, she even made up a refreshing wine spritzer for me. Everyone was talking and interacting with one another, like family. Everyone was so sweet with my little one. The food was delicious. We started with garlic rolls and ordered lobster ravioli, spinach ravioli and brought home tiramisu. Everything was great! This was the best italian food restaurant we have been to and we will make the 40 minute drive for italian food moving forward. The garlic rolls are the size of the palm of your hand and served on beautiful china and the pizza was hands down the best we have ever had. Staff was extremely friendly, attentive, and genuine. The food was absolutely excellent. Everything tasted very fresh and the portions were generous! My Italian wife has declared this the only authentic Italian restaurant in the greater Ashevill area. Don't let the modest storefront fool you. Our lunchtime waitress was awesome. Big bonus that they have high quality Bombas from Italy. Recommend a late lunch - if doing dinner, you want reservations. We had the place to ourselves at 2 PM on an off-season Wednesday - although there was a stream of takeout orders coming in the door. We'll be back, even though it's an hour's drive from our home.
