Decent bar with the basic drinks you need. They have a small dance floor, but the bar has a decent amount of seating.
Usually a pre-drink bar where you go somewhere else later the night.
Terrible experience from the side of security company and working personal, where I was kicked out of the bar in the middle of night because of being “very drunk” without any jacket, keys from home or wallet and denied accees to even go back and look for it.
Attending big bday party where we reserved whole bar and spent thousands of nok.
Worst thing was that after I got kicked out because I was blamed to be too drunk, the lovely security guy called me “utlending” cuz my norwegian wasnt nice enough for him. So poor racist guys staying in door, I would say. Maybe you should think of changing your security company.
What’s your problem?
The music sounded good so after arriving in Oslo from the UK, it seemed a great place to grab a drink in a lively atmosphere.
Why on earth did the doorman take exception to my friend and I? We approached and the doorman glared blocking the way. I asked if was ok to come in. He asked if we had had a drink anywhere else. I truthfully said we’d been to Andy’s bar around the corner. He said we had to go for a walk for half an hour. Like we were going to do that, just to be rejected again? After a long day, we certainly didn’t want a late one.
We were both totally sober. We weren’t exhibiting let alone feeling any effects of alcohol.
This is ridiculous! I’m 43, responsible, gainfully and respectfully employed and travel a lot broadening my horizons and experiencing different countries and cultures.
The only reason for this would be that the doorman has no regard for tourists.
Disgraceful.
