Stunning restaurant. By far the most beautiful location in Zanzibar. Reasonable prices given the location. 1 Lobster dinner, 1 fish curry, salad, fries, 3 beers and a Sprite came to $38. Service was slow, but incredibly friendly. Glad to have had slow service as it gave us plenty of time to enjoy where we were. No reservation needed. Excellent place with view over the sea 🌊 and beach ⛱️. Fresh made juices. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. Mtende is a beautiful beach and you can swim all day. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Hear me out. This place has the potential to be amazing if the food service were a bit quicker. When there are a lot of people at the restaurant expect to wait around an hour for food. A good idea would be to place your order then go and head for a swim, thereafter, you can enjoy an aperitif (the beer is good) at the bar or restaurant while you wait. The food shouldn’t take away from the magnifique views you can expect to encounter here & I still feel like it’s a great place to add to your list just be mindful of the wait times - I know the staff are probably trying their best too! Una experiencia extraordinaria durante mi viaje fue descubrir este lugar asombroso. Ofrece vistas inigualables que no encontrarás en ningún otro sitio, y además, puedes disfrutar de tus comidas literalmente al borde del mar. La comida es exquisita y fresca, y lo mejor de todo es que los precios son muy asequibles considerando la calidad de la comida. La atención es impecable por parte de todo el personal! En mi opinión es un sitio que recomiendo ir tanto con marea baja como con marea alta parecen dos sitios totalmente distintos y las vistas son preciosas. Amazing view. And tasty fresh juice. However, staff service is terrible, waiting time was too long, even though the place was not crowded. Iced coffee was disgusting, had way too much milk and almost no coffee at all. Not worth the price. Frozen Margarita was not frozen at all. Only had some ice which melted in no time.

Great alternative to The Rock! Even better i’d say. The food is mostly fresh fish and very delicious with very affordable prices. Location is just unbelievable! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our waiter Hamish was so nice and friendly. He is learning Spanish and talked to us a few words. Can’t recommend enough!
